Vacation Rental Description
Pine Valley is located within the Rotonda on the South West coast of Florida in Charlotte County, often referred to as Florida's hidden secret, or the real Florida. It is near the beachside town of Englewood on the Gulf of Mexico. The International Airports of Tampa (1.5 hours) and Fort Myers (1 hour) provide easy access to this area.Englewood has over 27 miles of white sandy beaches, many of which are almost deserted during the week. With Manasota Key to the North and Boca Grande to the South, our villa is perfectly located 15 mins drive to these fabulous beaches where pelicans fly overhead and dolphins swin in the sea. Englewood is one of the last parts of the Florida coastline to be discovered and is being developed on strict guidelines. Nearby Port Charlotte caters for all those craving retail therapy with a large Mall, whilst the Outlet Malls of Sarasota are 45 mins drive away.
Rotonda consists of many beautiful homes, which have been built on large lots amidst natural lakes, canals and golf courses. Many Americans and Canadians have made this area their home and you will be staying in a quiet and peaceful residential community. Which is also home to an array of Florida wildlife including pigs, raccoons, bobcats, turtles, alligators and a variety of birds. A nature reserve and conservation area has been maintained in the centre of the Rotonda, where you can get close to 'Real Florida'.
With stunning beaches, fantastic wildlife, golf, and an array of attractions nearby, surrounded by numerous restaurants and excellent shopping opportunities, our villa is ideally situated to enjoy all this area has to offer.
We have a very helpful and efficient management company, who look after the maintenance of the property, which includes weekly pool service, lawn maintenance and cleaning after your stay.
In addition to office hours for general help and advice about the villa and the area, they are available 24 hrs a day in case of emergencies.
This stunning villa built in late 2005 is South West facing overlooking a canal and nature reserve. It is spacious and fully air conditioned and sleeps up to 8 people. There 4 bedrooms including 2 Master Suites(1 king and 1 queen) and 2 twin bedrooms which share a further bathroom. Both masters have their own TV/DVD. There 2 separate lounge areas one of which features a 32 inch satelite TV, DVD, and CD. All TVs in the villa are satelite and receive over 100 channels The other lounge provides a restful spot merely to relax, this room also serves as a dining room for those more formal dining occasions if required. A large fully equipped kitchen including microwave and dishwasher provides a more casual dining area. A separate utility room with washer and dryer completes the accommodation.
The villa is ideal for two family groups but equally suitable for smaller parties, which require that extra space, it is furnished throughout to a high standard in traditional Florida style.
The 2 master suites, kitchen and formal dining area give access to the South West facing spacious lanai and extended deck area where the 14ft by 26ft electrically heated swimming pool awaits, (pool heating recommended between November and April at an extra cost).
The pool area is fully equipped with sunbeds, a large table and 6 chairs for alfresco dining, it looks out down the meandering canal and the nature reserve, it should be noted there are no further properties to the right of the villa which adds to the privacy. Being close to the nature reserve ensures a variety of birds including, eagles and herons, regularly fly overhead.

We have 4 adult bikes if you feel like some exercise. Wireless Broadband, bring your Laptop, sit on the lanai and stay connected Free Telephone Calls throughout the United States and Canada. Comcast Cable includes Fox soccer which shows premiership football.

We are well placed for golf, its a 7 minute walk from
our front door to the
clubhouse
at Long Marsh golf club (I have walked it ) in one direction and less than 5
minutes walk
via the nearby golf bridge in the other, to the new 9 holes of the course.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Tranquility.Something for everyone, a very quiet, friendly neighbourhood with everything close by.My wife and I had great days at some terrific beaches (usually within a 10-15 minute drive) from the villa, and really enjoyed our bike rides every morning and walks around the picturesque golf courses beside us.Getting up every morning to enjoy a coffee outside and listen to the many birds singing was very relaxing.The canal behind the property is beautifull and abounds with many waterfowl especially very early morning.One of the biggest surprises was when one evening the bobcat bounded through the back yard ,over the canal bridge and into the trees! All in all it was just a great, very relaxing vacation.The villa is very clean and well maintained in a quiet,safe neighbourhood. It was a pleasure dealing with Derek Birchenough who had everything very well organized,(instructions in the house were great also) and we encountered no unwanted surprises, before,during or after our stay.We would highly recommend this villa and the owners to anyone wanting a memorable vacation!

Large, beautiful villa with great sunset view from the lanai
Great accommodation for a large family or even 2 families, since it has 2 master bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms - the one in the #1 master bedroom is something to behold -
plus another full bathroom for the other 2 bedrooms. The south-west exposure for the lanai/pool area gives you sun from 9 in the morning until sunset - a spectacular view. The privacy of the villa since it is located by itself at the end of the street allows you to enjoy a very peaceful and relaxing vacation. Added bonuses are the 4 or 5 bikes that the owner has provided - one with a baby seat attached - and all kinds of floats and toys for the children to use at the pool or the beach. As you are relaxing pool side in the lanai, you may see all kinds of wildlife especially many species of birds etc. More...

"Great Experience!"
We booked this house at the last minute, and worked directly with the owner. Derek was very pleasant to work with. We were a little leery, as we have never rented a house before. So we weren't quite sure what to expect. Well the house and the location exceeded our expectations. The pictures certainly did not do it justice. The house was beautiful! Very spacious and very clean. And to have our own private pool was just amazing! We drove all the way from Ontario Canada.......and it was certainly worth the trip. The house is close to beaches, restaurants and shops. But we had a great time just lounging by the pool! And the fact that the house backed onto a wildlife reserve was such a bonus. Within 15 minutes of arriving, we saw turtles, Herrings, and even a small gator!! It was amazing. Thank you Derek and Wendy. We hope to come back again next year.

Home was spotless and had all the amentities. Master bath/bedroom was huge. Layout of house was perfect with kitchen and family room centrally located. We had four occupants and this home versus renting two hotel rooms was not only much cheaper but probably had 4 times the space and more privacy. Great places to eat within 10 minutes or 20 minutes if going to Gaspirilla island. Will be there again next year if it is available.

"Christmas at Tranquility"
My husband and myself shared the villa with our two daughters and son in law. My daughter's in laws also came to visit us for Christmas while we were there. We found the villa to be perfect for us. With the separated bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms everyone was afforded a lot of privacy. We found the villa to be extremely well equipped. It was easy to feel at home here!!

"Very nice home, very clean and nicely decorated. Located at a "junction" of a canal, with water behind and to the side. Spacious grounds. Very pleasant pool area. Area full of natural wildlife. Adjacent to 27 hole golf course. About 20 min drive to many restaurants (usual chains) and about 15 minutes to beaches and the beautiful Gasparilla island.

My wife and I love Florida, we have been going for the last 20 years. We bought our villa in 2005 after looking for about 2 years, we were looking for a nice quiet area close to the beach, where we could build a villa. We have achieved this and anybody who rents our villa will understand what we mean. We sit on our lanai and all we can hear his the birds, I still pinch myself sometimes to make sure I am not dreaming.
Having rented for many years we knew what we wanted and what potential rentors would be looking for and that is what we have got. South West facing, a nice view, plenty of space, nice furnishing, extended pool area, with a homely feel and a air of Tranquility which is why we gave our villa that name.
The feedback we have got from past rentors shows that they have found our villa a home from home and really enjoyed it. The beaches are second to none and we often see Dolphins swimming in the sea, we love the area more and more after each visit. The locals refer to it has paradise and we can understand what they mean
