Vacation Rental Description
Villa Solus is a lovely home with a family room as well as a formal living room and dining area. The master bedroom is on one side of the house and the 2nd master, together with bedrooms 3 and 4 are on the opposite side of the house. Bedroom 1 has a King size bed and is ensuite with direct access to the pool. The ensuite offers a shower, WC, tub and his and hers vanity units.
Bedroom 2 has a Queen size bed and is also ensuite with direct access to the pool. The ensuite comprises a walk in shower, WC and single vanity unit.
Bedroom 3 has two single beds.
Bedroom 4 has two single beds
Bathroom 3 has a low level tub, overhead shower with shower curtain, WC and single vanity. It is accessible from the house and also from the pool deck.
The main living are comprises:
Kitchen with a breakfast bar and a nook table with 4 chairs. There is a cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, sink disposal unit. The cupboards are very well stocked so that a family of 8 can easily 'eat in' if they wish.

Family Room with the entertainment center including TV
Utility Room with Washing machine and tumble dryer
Double garage with bicycles and electric garage door opener.
The lanai has a table with 8 comfortable chairs with a flexible arrangement so that they can be used as 4 sun loungers. The pool has a removable child safety barrier and has optional electric pool heat. There is a good gas BBQ and guests always start with a full tank of gas.
Facilities
A cleaning service during your stay can be provided at an extra cost. This also applies to a laundry service.
Activities
This area is famous for the fishing, especially game fishing in season for the Silver King, or Tarpon. We can arrange 1/2 or whole days out for anglers who want to try backwater or game fishing.
The house has a comprehensive in-house guide which is full of up to date information about where to eat, where to find good beaches, golf, horse riding, State Parks, Shopping etc.

Welcome to Rotonda West – a peaceful, planned community situated near the beautiful Gulf of Mexico in southwest Florida. It is located mid-way between Sarasota and Fort Myers. The community is predominantly full-time homeowners and their families, as well as tenants and those who winter in the community.There are five golf courses operated by Rotonda Golf and Country club. Thirty miles of picturesque canals, lakes and ponds wind through the community and offer fishing and boating opportunities for its residents.
Many exotic and beautiful birds call Rotonda West home, as it is a designated Bird Sanctuary. Nearby recreation facilities, beaches, theaters, sporting events, and fine restaurants are available for all.
The weather usually stays relatively mild. In the summer, it's not uncommon for temperatures to get into the mid-90's, but this is tempered by sea breezes from the Gulf. At night in the summer, temperatures quickly drop to the low to mid 70's. In the winter, hard freezes are rare, but occasionally occur. It's more common to have frost on the ground briefly in pre-dawn hours, but it melts shortly after sunrise. This usually only happens 2 or 3 times during the winter. Temperatures average 50 - 70 degrees during the winter. On a sunny winter day, it's rare for the temperature to stay below 50 degrees for long.
Summer thunderstorms are not uncommon. Florida is known as the lightning capital of the world. The dry season is in the spring.

There is a $250.00 refundable security deposit. Payments accepted by check, VISA, Mastercard and AMEX. Golf There is a $50.00 admin fee on all golf bookings. Additionally in December thru April, each player (max 2 adults) pay $50.00 per week. The golf offers 2 adults unlimited golf on 4 of the local courses (81 holes) and all they pay for is the golf cart hire. Baseball FREE baseball is available at this house for 1 night during your stay, subject to availability. Tickets for up to 8 guests to watch the Charlotte Stone Crabs home games at the local stadium with is 15 minutes from the house. Cancellation Policy More than 8 weeks prior to arrival - Deposit only Between 6 - 8 weeks prior to arrival - 50% of rental Less than 6 weeks prior to arrival - 100% of rental
