Vacation Rental Description
Our lovely 3-bedroom Villa is located in the tranquil and safe Pinehurst district of Rotonda West - a residential community with five golf courses within a conservation area, and is ideally located for hassle free travel.Facing south-west, the solar heated swimmng pool and electrically heated spa, enjoys the sun from mid-morning to early evening, perfect for taking your breakfast, lunch or dinner outside (a BBQ is available for your personal use).
The Villa is fully air conditioned and has been furnished and equipped to the very highest of standards; it feels like home as soon as you step through the front door! The Master Suite has sliders to the pool area, a queen-sized bed, a TV (with remote control), its own walk-in wardrobe, an en-suite bathroom with spa bath and walk-in shower, 'his & her' vanity units. Bedroom 2 has a double bed with TV (& remote control); Bedroom 3 has twin beds; both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes. The bedrooms are separated by the family bathroom which has a shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has an informal dining area with sliders that open on to the lanai (covered deck area). A separate laundry room, located close to the kitchen, provides internal access to the garage.
There is a separate sitting area with midi CD & radio system together with plenty of books for you to read.The lounge area has a cathedral ceiling and is tastefully furnished with two leather settees; there is cable TV, and a DVD/Video player. Sliders open out onto the lanai which has table and chairs for outside dining. The extended pool deck gives plenty of room for the sun loungers around the swimming pool and spa. There is also an outside WC.
Rotonda West can be easily reached via the I-75 South from Tampa Airport (1.5 hours) or via the I-75 North from South West International Airport -Fort Myers (45 minutes).
Englewood,Boca Grande, Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda are within easy travelling distance.
Facilities
A BBQ is available on the Pool Deck for your personal use. The BBQ gas is provided free of charge. The pool deck has four sun loungers, large table and six chairs, and outside dining (whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner) is something special for you and your family. The swimming pool is heated by solar power. There are noodles and two lilos stored in the garage for your use. Pool towels are also available and plastic dinnerware including glasses are located in the kitchen for use on or around the pool deck. The spa is electrically heated. If you wish to use the spa, the cost will be $100 per week. Our Management Company will be pleased to show you how the spa works. Wifi internet access is also available on request. Two adult bikes and helmets are located in the garage and available for your use, at your own risk. The house is cleaned on your departure at no cost to yourselves.
Activities
The Rotonda Community Park (32 acres) features two tennis courts, a multi-purpose sports field, a picnic pavilion, and a bike path, as well as rest room facilities.
Rotonda is perfectly positioned to reach the beaches of Boca Grande, Englewood, Mannasota Key, and Stump Pass.
There are supermarkets located at the edge of Rotonda providing for your self-catering needs, and there are also cafes and restaurants all within easy reach of the Villa.
Punta Gorda is within easy travelling distance. You can visit Fisherman's Village, take a sunset cruise or a trip around the bay.
Port Charlotte's (20 mins drive away) Murdock Circle Mall provides great shopping with five big retailers on site, as well as a variety of other shops, a cinema complex, and a selection of restaurants in the Mall and along the 'strip'.
You can also shop at Ellenton Mall (outside Tampa) or visit Miromar Outlet and Coconut Point(both in Fort Myers)

20% deposit is required to secure the Villa. The balance to be paid six weeks prior to the date of your arrival at the Villa. A security deposit of $ 350 is required with your final payment. This will be returned within 10 days of your departure subject to a satisfactory inspection of the property. Cost of use of Spa: $ 100 per week Cancellation more than eight weeks prior to date of arrival: balance of monies paid, less deposit will be returned Cancellation within eight weeks of arrival date: deposit will be retained, and we also reserve the right to retain the balance of rental should it not be possible to re-let the property. For payment we accept: electronic transfer of funds or sterling cheque (subject to timelines) For rentals of one week or less, 50% of the cleaning charge will be made. Sales Tax will be added to the cost of the rental

A UK proverb states "The proof of the pudding is in the eating" and we look forward to our fifth visit to this villa when we leave for Florida at the end of March 2011. This villa is well and worthily recommended.

We are just completing our second stay at Elysium Retreat and hope to return. The villa is very well equipped and so comfortable. Owners are very accomodating and concerned with the best interests of their guests. Maintenance issues are dealt with quickly, although issues have been very few. It is well positioned for the local Rotonda golf courses. Bikes are a nice touch to use on local bike trails or streets in the area. Quiet neighbourhood makes it a lovely place to vacation.

My wife, family and I have had the pleasure of staying at this villa in Florida twice over the past four years, and have had a truly marvellous time on each occasion. The villa is very well appointed with all the amenities that you could possible want from heated swimming pool and jacuzzi to wireless internet and everything in between. Rotonda itself is an attractive well kept and safe suburban development of similar residential properties that is in easy reach of good restaurants, shopping and beaches. We will be back again.
