Southern Nights is a well know home on Rotonda. Set on a double lot, this spacious keywest style home is a great family home. Big enough to take a family get together, but cosy enough for just a couple of guests. It has just undergone considerable upgrades by Interiors by Joann and is an exceptional larger home. 
 
Southern Nights is South East rear facing onto a wider inland waterway and is located in well-landscaped grounds with copious palm trees! This area is close to beaches to both the west and the south making it an ideal 'spot' for relaxing and an excellent location for golf.  
 
This beautiful home is perfect for guests. The accommodation comprises 2 master suites, one with King, one with Queen, two bedrooms have two single beds each, there is a full in bedroom 5 and a sofa bed in the den. The house also has high speed wireless internet access as well as TV's in the great room, den and master bedroom. 
 
Southern Nights offers great value to guests who enjoy space and luxury. Our home is served by friendly staff at our management and rental company who have local offices. They will be on hand to ensure that your vacation is an excellent one!

This area is a world class venue for fishermen! We offer one of the best locations for Tarpon fishing between late April and mid-July and year round backwater fishing.

Welcome to Rotonda West – a peaceful, planned community situated near the beautiful Gulf of Mexico in southwest Florida. It is located mid-way between Sarasota and Fort Myers. The community is predominantly full-time homeowners and their families, as well as tenants and those who winter in the community.

There are five golf courses operated by Rotonda Golf and Country club. Thirty miles of picturesque canals, lakes and ponds wind through the community and offer fishing and boating opportunities for its residents.

Many exotic and beautiful birds call Rotonda West home, as it is a designated Bird Sanctuary. Nearby recreation facilities, beaches, theaters, sporting events, and fine restaurants are available for all.


The weather usually stays relatively mild. In the summer, it's not uncommon for temperatures to get into the mid-90's, but this is tempered by sea breezes from the Gulf. At night in the summer, temperatures quickly drop to the low to mid 70's. In the winter, hard freezes are rare, but occasionally occur. It's more common to have frost on the ground briefly in pre-dawn hours, but it melts shortly after sunrise. This usually only happens 2 or 3 times during the winter. Temperatures average 50 - 70 degrees during the winter. On a sunny winter day, it's rare for the temperature to stay below 50 degrees for long.

Summer thunderstorms are not uncommon. Florida is known as the lightning capital of the world. The dry season is in the spring.

Winter rentals (excluding January) of 28 nights + attract a 25% discount on the accommodation rate. Summer rentals of 28 nights + attract a 15% discount on the accommodation rate. Initial Payment Bookings are confirmed on receipt of a 20% deposit payment with signed booking form. If the booking is made within 2 months of arrival, the full balance plus security deposit will be required by return with the completed booking form. Security Deposit A refundable security deposit of $250 is required to be paid with the balance of the rental. Cancellation Policy More than 8 weeks prior to arrival - Deposit only Between 6 - 8 weeks prior to arrival - 50% of rental Less than 6 weeks prior to arrival - 100% of rental Arrivals and Departures Check-in time is after 4 pm on the day of arrival Check-out time is before 11 am on the day of departure
