"Bridgeview Cottage" is one of the most delightful and charming cottages in Matlacha and Pine Island. The brightly painted Key West colors inside as well as outside the cottage will make you never want to go home! The cottage is comfortable and relaxing, just what your stay should be. 
 
Bridgeview Cottage is situated in a small quaint fishing village of Matlacha Island which is located between Cape Coral and Pine Island. Just a short drive to Ft. Myers, Cape Coral, Bokeelia and St. James City. 
 
This waterfront home sits on wide canal front with safe harbor docking for your sailboat or power boat. Fast access out to Charlotte Harbor and less than a minute to Matlacha Pass. Or lie in the hammock and enjoy the spectacular sunsets over the bay. You'll really feel like you are in another place and time. 
 
Vacation Rental Amenities - The cottage features a spacious living room, which offers two large sofas and chair with a 27 inch TV, a DVD player, Stereo System with CD player, lots of games, DVD's and CD's. We also have a large selection of books for relaxing in the hammock or deck chairs. We include DSL Internet access if you need to touch back to reality.  
 
The two bedrooms, both with queen size beds are smartly decorated in vibrant colors, with plenty of sheets and towels. The master bath has wood cabinets and a tiled walk-in shower. The guest bathroom boasts a pedestal sink and combination bath/shower. 
 
The kitchen faces the canal with sliding glass doors with gorgeous views. The kitchen offers everything that you will need to make your stay a pleasurable one: seating for six people, fridge with ice-maker, microwave, stove/oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, juice presser, and toaster. 
 
The outdoors seats four for dining while you cook on the electric grill and enjoy the views. You have your own private fishing pier and dock.  
 
For your convenience the cottage has it's own washer and dryer, ironing board and iron. Of course you have central air and heat. 
 
Activities and Attractions - Enjoy your eight person jacuzzi outside along with a hammock to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of this beautiful island. 
 
You will never need a car because you are in walking distance to "The Fishingest Bridge", boating, kayak and canoe rentals. Also fishing, biking, golfing, village shopping, art galleries and local seafood restaurants.  
 
Minutes away by car you can enjoy the Sun Splash Water Park, Greenwell's park (batting cages, go-cart tracks, arcade, game room, paintball park, water tag, 4000 sq ft maze, playground, and miniature golf). Royal Tee Country Club (27 hole championship course, driving range, tennis, golf instruction and pro shop). The "Edison and Ford" Winter Estates. The German-American Club which hosts the "Octoberfest" and "Mangomania" every year.
