This classic Florida home on tranquil Manasota Key is set on a one-acre lot surrounded by mangroves, palm trees, and Australian pines with a heated pool and views of beautiful Lemon Bay and the Intracoastal Waterway. Just a five-minute walk down a secluded path is a private access to the beautiful Manasota Key beach on the Gulf of Mexico with outstanding shelling and swimming. Fishing and boating access on the waterway is available from a 100-foot fishing dock in front of the house. Dock is for day boat use only for a vessel up to 18 ft with a 2 ft draft. No overnight dockage. (Dock is shared with two other houses on the three-acre compound).  
 
Visitors here will find a quiet, unspoiled part of old Florida with nature trails adjacent to the property winding through a mangrove preserve. Calm water on Lemon Bay is ideal for canoeing and kayaking or fishing for snook hiding near the shore. Small boats can be launched by hand from a shallow area in front of the house. Trailered boats can be launched at a public ramp within 3 miles, next to the north bridge.  
 
Restaurants and shopping centers are located within a 15 minute drive on the mainland where you will also find golf, tennis, cinemas, and even a small amusement park for the kids. Further to the north are the charming cities of Venice and Sarasota with the Ringling Museum of Art, Mote Marine Aquarium, many fine restaurants, and live theatre productions.

    Florida Accommodation Tax of 11% is additional + $125 for Cleaning Pool Heating: ADD $100/week. In cool weather, pool can be heated to 82°-84°F. Tenants should notify rental agent at least 4 days prior to arrival if they would like pool heated to 82°-84°F. Tenants may request pool heater to be turned on any time during stay by contacting rental agent. Please note that pool needs 24 hours to reach 82°-84°F. Charges will be on a per diem basis starting from first day pool heater is turned on. Rentals start 3PM the first Saturday to 11AM the last Saturday Small pets may be considered with an additional security deposit. Please inquire.
