Vacation Rental Description
A charming two bedroom house located in the center of Englewood, on a quiet safe residential neighborhood with little traffic. You are just two miles from the beaches of Manasota Key, and close to local shops, restaurants and golf courses. Englewood Hospital is just four blocks North on Pine St. You will find a modern kitchen with breakfast bar. There are cool terrazzo floors thoughout. A master bedroom with queen bed and a 2nd bedroom with twin beds. All linens are provided including beach towels. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The living room has comfortable tropical furniture,offering seating for five with a sofa and chair also a recliner. The sunroom with ratan furniture, leads out to a small patio with a chaise and chairs. The dining area by the kitchen seats six. A carport and a laundry room with washer and dryer and a gas BBQ complete the facilities. Our guests really like this home. It was our first home in Englewood and we equipped it for ourselves. Facilities
You will find beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a small cooler in the utility room. Books and games in the entertainment unit. If requested we can upgrade the cable TV service to Comcast Preferred at a cost of about $40 per month plus connect charge. Verizon DSL Internet is available and there is a router/modem for long rentals of one month or more for the Verizon cost of $40 per month Sarasota, 45 minutes away boasts the Ringling Museum of Art, Mote Aquarium and upscale shopping. Tampa, 1.5 hours has Busch Gardens, The Science Center and the Florida Aquarium. Disney, Universal and Seaworld at 2.5 hours, and Kennedy Space Center 3 hours. Bird watchers and nature lovers will find unspoiled reserves and state parks close by and kayaks can be rented close to great paddling areas. We can supply further information.

90 minutes from Tampa (TPA), StPete (PIE) Airport or FT Myers Airport(RSW), 45 minutes from Sarasota.
Englewood is a small seaside town on the Gulf of Mexico, located between Sarasota & Ft Myers just South of the town of Venice and on the North side of Charlotte Harbor. Englewood is a quiet laid-back community offering miles of long sandy beaches, great fishing, nature preserves and a good selection of restaurants and shops. You'll enjoy the artists galleries on Dearborn St nearby and a variety of good Mall shopping within a half hour drive. No high rises here, just old fshioned Florida. You will enjoy the natural flora and fauna. There are two nature parks in town. Fun for walking and nature tours with the park rangers. One has an Eagle's nest, and you are sure to see Gogher turtles. You will see Sandhill Cranes, Wood Storks and lots of Great Blue Herons and Pelicans.

State occupancy tax: 12% on total cost End of stay cleaning: $80 Pets: $25 per pet per week Reservation/Security deposit: $150 per week, maximum $400.00 Short rental over Holiday dates: $100.00 added to weekly price. Includes local phone calls and basic cable TV service. Cable TV can be upgraded for about $35 per month plus a connect charge. If you have a large family or friends and need more room we own the house next door that sleeps up to six. You will have your own compound and I will deduct 10% from the rate of the second house.
