This charming two bedroom home is located on a quiet, safe, residential dead-end street overlooking a wide canal that leads to Lemon Bay (two bridges. You are just three miles (five minutes by car) from the beaches of Manasota Key, and a few blocks to restaurants,shops and golf. The pool has a pool cage with a large sunning area and is solar heated. The fully equipped, open plan kitchen has a breakfast bar. The dining/sun room overlooks the pool and the canal. The living room has a comfortable queen sofa/bed for those extra guests. You will find a 2nd shower, sink and toilet in the utility area of the garage. There is a dock with electric davits for your boat. You are about 15 minutes from Lemon Bay at no-wake speed. You will find everything that you need for a perfect vacation, as we equipped and decorated this as our second home. Pick oranges and grapefruit in season.
Extras: Bikes, a canoe, sail boats, fishing gear, beach toys and floats, cooler, beach chairs & umbrella beach towels. Ceiling fans in all rooms.
This house is all on one floor with no steps but doors are standard width and there are no grab bars in the bathroom.

Miles of beaches and no highrise buildings on the beach or anywhere in Englewood. Great fishing in Lemon Bay or deep-sea fishing in the Gulf. Major shopping Malls just 30 minutes away, 45 minutes to an outlet mall, and just over 2 hours to Disney or Seaworld in Orlando. Tennis at the local sports center, riding at a nearby ranch and golf all over. It is said that the area has 46 golf courses! Two nature parks in Englewood and Florida's largest State Park, Myakka, a one hour drive to see native birds and aligators. Busch Garden in Tampa 1.5 hours, Sarasota with the Ringling Museum, the Mote Aquarium and Jungle Gadens an hour away. Art and Craft galeries in Englewood, and in Venice and Sarasota. More peace and quiet than anywhere else in Florida.

The pool is solar heated for winter use. It has a large sunning area inside the pool cage. There is a dock on the canal with electric davits but you may need your own spreader and lifting cables. There is water, lights and electric outlets on the dock. I will provide you with a map and directions from the nearest launch point.
The 2nd bathroom is in the utility area of the garage with a shower, wash basin and toilet which can double as a windsurfer for those with that ability. You will find beach chairs, an ubrella, floats beach toys and fishing equipment. Try and catch crabs in the canal with the crab trap.
We have basic Comcast cable TV service, which can be upgraded for about $45 per month plus a disconnect fee. Verizon Broadband can be ordered for an extra $40.00 per month plus modem rental.
