We have a total of 6 apartments, 3 downstairs and 3 upstairs. One of the apartments has one bedroom, the rest all have two bedrooms. Also, every apartment has a sofa which opens into a queen size bed. The beds are very comfortable, with new mattresses; There is a queen size bed in the main bedroom and two single beds in the second bedroom. The kitchen is large, with a full size refrigerator and stove/oven. We also provide a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, all cooking utensils and linens. We have a lovely wood deck which faces the beach and where you can relax on our lounge chairs. All apartments are right on the beach. You step out and you're on the sand. Our central air conditioning and heat, wireless internet, color cable t.v., and other comforts will make it pleasant for you to stay in, but you will want to spend all your time on the beach because it is truly magnificent. Not only will you find beautiful shells, but you can also find lots of prehistoric sharks teeth right on the sand. You can fish from shore and you will be amazed at the variety of fish you can catch. There are lots of great places in Florida for you to visit and most of them are within a short driving distance. Everything you may want to see or do is very conveniently located, whether you want to play golf, shop, eat, visit art galleries, etc. Many of our guests just want to relax and enjoy what Mother Nature has to offer. There is nothing better than sitting on our deck at sunset with a cool drink in your hand and a gentle breeze to keep you cool. We have the perfect temperature. It never gets unbearably hot thanks to the breeze coming from the Gulf. Our winters are very mild. There may be a couple of days when it's cooler, but mostly it feels just like spring or summer all year long.

Our private beach offers excellent shelling and fishing. The sunsets will take your breath away. You will see dolphins, manatees, and lots of birds (egrets, herons, sandpipers, etc.) Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. We are located on Manasota Key, a barrier island where time stands still, so you can experience Florida as it used to be many years ago: quiet, safe, clean, and very beautiful. Our apartments provide you with everything you need for an enjoyable and unforgettable stay. Our rates are reasonable, our hospitality is warm, our apartments are comfortable, making the Island House your favorite vacation destination. This is a great place for families with children. The water is mostly calm and warm making it pleasant to swim year round. The apartment will feel like home, with wireless internet, central air and heat, cable t.v., etc.

Low Season Price : $700 High Season Price : $900 per Week
We require a 25% deposit to confirm a reservation. Your deposit is returned if you should cancel more than 90 days before your stay. If you cancel within 90 days we can transfer your deposit to a future stay. We don't accept credit cards so the best method of payment would be cash at check in. For the deposit you would need to send us a check.
