Nestled in a nicely landscaped, private oasis and just a brief walk to the beach or the bay - come enjoy the serenity of St. George Island and the Apalachicola area in this beautiful 2005-built home decorated in warm earthy colors, filled with artwork celebrating the sea!

Sleeps 12-14 guests: 2 Kings, 2 Queens, NEW- Double Bunk Beds (4 beds), 1 Queen sleeper sofa.

5 bedroom, 4-1/2 bath home with multiple TVs and DVD players, surround sound stereo, Playstation 2 with children's games, book lover's dream - Cracker Barrel book library (trade your paperback in for one in the library), gas fireplace, and screened porch with picnic table. Private pool, double park-style charcoal grill, fish cleaning sink, enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower, and bikes with helmets & childrens' bike trailer for little riders. High-speed internet/computer/Wi-Fi use and long distance access available for free. Newly renovated tennis court at the end of the street for your enjoyment.

Explore the scenic beauty of the Barrier Islands, home to some of Florida's most pristine, white-sand beaches, a state park, a national wildlife refuge, and once home to Native American Indians....and a few pirates.

Stroll out from this wonderful retreat to enjoy a peaceful walk along the ocean or the bay, where the sunsets are a vibrant orange and red, Ospreys and Eagles fly overhead, and huge sea turtles visit in the summer months. This is true peace and relaxation, whether you visit in the summer to hang out by the pool with a tall margarita in hand, or you come in the winter and enjoy a good book by the fire after a stroll along the beach or a bike ride along the bike path. A good stock of cookbooks along with everything else you'll need awaits you in this beautiful kitchen. This house is the perfect spot to come with friends or to enjoy a family reunion!
