Surfside Six is a beautiful home on the south side of 30a. It is a 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath home. Recently purchased, our home is now completely renovated and spacious, close to the beach and many amenities including the Blue Mountain Beach Club where you can swim, have snacks at the cabana, exercise room, shuffleboard. There are also golf carts you can rent.
The colors and furnishings are beautiful, comfortable and beachy. The three story exterior is light lime, denim blue with yellow. A surfboard with our home name hangs above the door. Walking in you have stairs to the second floor in front of you. To the left is a very nice size kitchen, filled with new dishes, pots pans, just about anything you would have at home including cookbooks. The counters are chocolate brown, the walls a soothing green.New 18 inch tiled floors are throughout as well as new white beadboard cabinets. Crown molding is throughout the home.
If you go to the right at the door is the living room, Lots of light shines through the bay window. Again, it has gorgeous tiles, comfortable furniture and furnishings from vintage stores in the area to Pottery Barn and Pier One. A flat screen tv as well as a closet that holds a new front load washer and dryer. There is also a glass door where you can see and go out to the backyard and garden.
One half bath is on the first floor the color or orange sherbet. All new mirrors and other amenities.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms and each room has its own private bath. The first room is vivid yellow, white with a huge bay window.
The bath is decorated in a bamboo design with granite countertops and new faucets.
The twin bedroom room is in khaki, black, grey and teal. As with all the bedrooms a new flatscreen tv as well as playstation 2. In the twin room is a set of stairs going to the third floor. Once there you will find a door to the balcony. The third floor balcony is peaceful as there are no other decks from other homes facing you.
There is a beautiful blue and orange room with angled ceilings. It too has its own bath.
Across the hall the purple room with a bay window. Again, its own bath. The room is lovely and relaxing with lots of light. From the windows you can see the new palms we have planted outside.
There is a backyard with deck and gas grill. A table and chairs for outdoor eating. There are palms and oleanders and night lights illuminating the palms in the evenings.
The house makes me smile and it will you too. The colors, the light, the peacefulness of the area.....
We are less than 300 yards to the beach. We are also Blue Mountain Beach Club members where there is a gorgeous pool, exercise room, shuffleboard and family style outdoor pool bar.
We are close to Santa Rosa Beach (3 mi) Destin (25 min) or any of the other beachtowns on 30a. It really is heaven on earth staying in the area.
This is our first year (actually our first couple of weeks) renting our home, so take advantage of the low rates this year.
You must be 25 to rent.
This is a non smoking property.
A well trained dog is fine.
No cats.
Money will be refunded is the National Weather service issued warnings. So far with our other home Beyond The Sea that we purchased a couple of years ago, we haven't had this happen.
