Vacation Rental Description

Our home is an upscale mobile home in a very friendly community located between Marathon and Key West. The house is on the open water and we have forty feet of seawall to dock a boat. There are cleats and bumpers and a swim ladder to assist with the boating needs. The house is comfortably and tastefully furnished. The cook will find adequate cooking ware present and white ironstone dishes and 18/10 flatwear. There is a tv in the living room with superior cable service, wifi for the laptop and a small stereo. The main bedroom also has a tv with remote control.
Books, games, cd are in the house for the use of the renting families. The seawall has high quality seating and a cement table for dining outside and a gas barbeque. The house is one one level with only 4 steps to climb for entry. The view from inside is just as magnificent as being outside. So, for those who have to be careful of the sun, you will not be missing a good time even though you must remain indoors. One bathroom has a walk in shower and th other bathroom has a shower/bathtub. The living room sofa is a pullout bed. We are in a section of the resort that is very quiet and away from most of the community. Sitting by the seawall, one is able to see the tropical fish swim by and to watch the skimmer birds with their aerial ballet while looking for meals. Enjoy.

Venture Out Resort has many activities within the park: biking, walking, tennis, golf net, children's playground, basketball court, bocce court, shuffle board, English darts, pool table and ping pong, bridge games and other board games at the rec center, plays, and movies are offered, craft shows and mini flea markets from each block. The community has lots of interesting activities planned for those interested and for those who want to fish, swim or just enjoy the climate, that is fine also.

We are only about 6 miles from the living reef Looe Key which is excellent for diving and fishing. We are only about 20 miles from Key West and all the excitement that goes along with that charming little city. National Parks are also nearby - Biaha Honda and Fort Zachary Taylor are nearby and a boat ride away is Fort Jefferson.
If one does not want to sight see, the view from the living room or the seawall is worth the trip.

Cottage Rental Rates Low Season Price : $1400 High Season Price : $1600 per Week

We accept personal checks and do not do credit cards. We want one half the total amount to reserve the desired time. We reserve the desired time when the check arrives. If two parties are looking for the same week, the first check gets the rental. If there is a cancellation, we charge a $50 service fee and refund the rest if the cancellation occurs 40 days prior to the rented date. If after that time, what ever part we are able to rerent, we refund that amount. If there is mandaditory evacuation due to hurricane, we will refund that amount of your rental that you were forced to miss. We do not rent to teenagers. We will send a contract to the prospective renter with all the details about the rental. We want the balance of the rental paid two weeks before the vacation starts.
