5/5Starting the New Year off right
Guest: Florida natives (Middleburg FL)
Date of Stay: January 1, 2011 Review Submitted: January 5, 2011

We started the new year off with a mini vaction for our family, it was part of our Christmas present. The house was amazing, there was more room than we needed. The grill area outside was lovely and we ate dinner and breakfast outside most days. The kitchen made it easy for us to eat in ,saving our money for entertainment. The kids loved having a TV in each of the bedrooms, allowing them a little personal time each day. Outside in the canal the manatees came to visit each morning and the children stated it was their favorite part of the trip. The locals were very nice to us. Rosi called the day of check in and was available by phone during our stay. I look forward to returning to the property with our extended family in the near future. We also rented a boat from a local marina and went out ot a sandbar in Islamarada and walked around collecting shells and observing the fish, great fun for the children.

5/5Fantastic Home Made for Relaxing Getaway

Rosi, Thank you for opening up your beautful home to us for the week between Christmas and New Year's. It was great to get away to Key Largo and relax and unwind. Your home is spacious, very comfortable for our gang of 10 and very clean. Sitting outside overlooking the canal and our family's boat was great, and though we went out to eat, I think we enjoyed cooking out on your outdoor kitchen overlooking the water most. Walked down to the boat ramp and the beach and the kids enjoyed everything about being in the Keys and your home. Have recommended to others. Many Thanks!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home! We all really enjoyed the daily visits from our friends , the manatees! THere is plenty to do within miles of this vacation home. It only took about an hour to get to South Miami Beach and then on another day we drove to Key West in just a couple hours. The area is beautiful! The house was wonderful! THanks for a great vacation!!!

5/5Home Away From Home
Guest: Sagi (Miami)
Date of Stay: December 3, 2010 Review Submitted: December 10, 2010

I rented the house to celebrate my 60th birthday with my family. I had seen the pictures and the description on the website however it's better than I imagined. The house is very well equipped. And the downstairs area is AWSOME for barbecue and simply sit and have a drink. We brought a boat and it was great because we had it parked in the back and the ramp is blocks away. Rosi is excellent, and only a phone call away, if you had questions about anything. She is delightful and great person to do business with. The manatees after the first day we were there, came to the dock every single day in the morning and the afternoon. The kids absolutely loved it, and simply didn't want to leave. Well guess what when it came my time to leave I didn't want to leave either. It was very peaceful there. A great place to relax and disconnect from the hectic everyday life. What more can I say, well simply that I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! Thank you Rosi for making my 60th birthday such a perfect place to be and such fond memories to remember.

First I want to say thank you to Rosi and Oscar (the property owners). You are wonderful. We had such a great time staying in your beautiful home. We found ourselves calling it "home" during our stay. The kids would ask "so are we going home now?". In this home you will find everything you could possibly need and more even down to the little things you put in the ends of your corn on the cob so you don't have to get your hands messy. Rosi thought of everything when it came to making her guests comfortable. The house is beautifully decorated with TVs in every bedroom as well as the living area (all large flat screens). There are 8 beds in the home-- plenty of room for everyone. The outdoor kitchen was amazing and we used it every night!!! Mable (that's what the neighbor named the manatee) came to visit with her baby and that was a wonderful experience for me as well as the kids. We rented a boat and the house was pretty easy to navigate to and conveniently located close to the intercoastal waterway that leads to the ocean. I have no complaints at all, not one. We will be returning at least once a year to stay and we will be renting this lovely home every time :) Thank you Rosi and Oscar

3/5Ok House
Guest: Lotte (Denmark)
Date of Stay: October 20, 2010 Review Submitted: October 26, 2010

We were 10 persons and the house was not suitable for so many. There were only 6 chairs around the dinningtable. There were not plates, glasses and so on for all of us, so we had to do the dishes all the time. And 3 of us had to sleep in a very small room. The open plan kitchen room was a nice place for all of us to relax after a day of diving (huge tv). Only 1 hour drive from Bahia Honda State Park!! Great beach and diving! God service from Rosi. A dishwasher would have been a big plus.

Owner response: I am the owner of this Amazing Home in Paradise. That is what this home truly has been for all my past and repeated renters!! I was a bit amazed and disappointed with the last renters review concerning the lack of space in the house. There has been a huge amount of renters that have come to stay at this lovely spacious home that they can call "Home away from Home" and with all the ameneties of that as well. While there is a dining room table for 6 there is also a eating nook for 4 more and a Huge family room area right next to the dining room and kitchen area that can easily accomodate more than 12 people. This set up creates an ambiance for everyone to be together and at the same time share their own space and not be on top of each other. This home has over 2500 sq feet of space, so therefore, I would say that there is enough room for 2 families or more. As far as the bedrooms, there are 3 huge master bedrooms and 1 regular size bedroom that easily sleeps 11 - 12 people. As well as those accomodations, there are 2 queen size air mattresses as a bonus in case someone doesn't want to sleep with anyone else. I was also surprised about the dishes comment due to their being ample utensils, silverwares, cups, all types of post and pans, etc in the huge open kitchen. It is as stocked as your home can be and more! My only comment for the Dishwasher is: My philosophy on vacationing is NOT TO WORK OR HAVE TO DO DISHES!!! We use paper plates and that was my concept on the rental issue for the renters to relax and use them as well!!! LOL. There is also an awesome outdoor island kitchen that has alot of space and room for a big family or more to enjoy the evenings with the summer breeze and the cool nights as you are grilling outside of the home by the water. I would say that this is definitely a DAY IN PARADISE! I would love to please everyone, but everyone has their own opinions. But I think that 1 that was not 100% happy out of almost 50 ain't bad. You can't win them all! But I am pretty close! I strive on going out of my way to make sure that my renters have everything that they need and that the house is suitable for all of their family members. I check up on them and all to make sure that they got in okay and to see if they even have any questions or concerns upon check-in. I assure the future renters that they will not be disappointed with this choice of a rental. I promise you....Thanks, Rosi Pazos Edit My Response

5/5A perfect home away from home
Guest: The quiet one (Denmark )
Date of Stay: October 16, 2010 Review Submitted: November 15, 2010

My family of 11 stayed at this amazing home in Paradise last month for a week during our holiday period in Denmark. This house is just the best thing that I found to spend our holiday time away from home. It felt like we were home with a little added ameneties and a beautiful beach close by and the waters in the Florida Keys are to die for. The house was extremely clean and well maintained. It has all the ameneties that you may need while you are away from home. We had so much room throughout the house that we could be together but at the same time have our spaces, if needed. Starting from many huge screen tv's in all of the rooms and especially in the large family room where we spend all of our evenings if we were not enjoying the downstairs grilling area by the canal where we were greeted everyday by 3 or more manatess. What amazing animals they are. The kids were so excited to feed and actually swim with them while they were there. There are so many things to do while you are there. We went on a snorkeling tour to Pennekamp, went on a glass bottom tour. Went Deep sea fishing to which we cooked our fresh fish right at the house in the island kitchen downstairs. How cool can that be!!! The grocery store is right down the street off of the main highway. There are so many restaurants also in the area where you can choose what the family wants to eat. The owner, Rosi was great to work with. She called us to check up on us, gave the suggestions on restaurants, and stuff to do in the area. A one day trip to Key West is a must do while you are there. I would recommend this home to anyone that wants to feel like they are at home but enjoying an awesome vacation away from home. The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood which is nice and relaxing also while you are on vacation. The neighbors were very helpful with suggestions on what to do and where to go and extremely very pleasant. Rosi, we will definitely be back to this Paradise Home!

We rented this home for our recent wedding. Rosi is amazing!! She even helped us book the local beach for our ceremony. The beach was also where we went on days we just wanted to stay 'home'. The house has everything you need for a week of fun and relaxation. We were even blessed enough to have the local manatees visit us the day before and the day of our wedding. The outside grilling area was great for lunches and dinners. The neighbors are also great!! Really we cannot say enough good things about this place!!

Owner response: I am the owner of this lovely home. I was so honored and happy to be able to share my home with such a lovely couple, friends and family members to celebrate the beginning of their new lives together. I thought the beach wedding was great and so different that any other place. By the way, it came out Gorgeous!!! The manatees are an added blessing to any renter since they are amazing creatures that actually put a smile on anyone's faces, specially the kids. I am also very happy to know that even though they were 12 or more at the house, there was enough room for all them to be together and at the same time have their spaces, when needed. The outdoor grilling/patio area was a plus for the wedding toast and for the relaxing nights that lied before and after the wedding day!! Thank you so much Diana and again I wish you the best of luck in the future! Rosi Pazos Edit My Response

It was awesome!! The neighbors are very nice and helpful. We wanted to go fishing and got a great reccomendation on a charter. All in all a trip with family. If you have older ones in your group just be aware they are stairs.

This house is far from Faboulous! When we got there we were greeted by some manatees that were there for the length of our stay. We stayed at this beautiful home for a week in September. The house has all of the ameneties that you could want for a home away from home. So much space for all of the family to be together and yet have your own space too. We were a family of 12 and the kids just loved the private beach and the chance to run around the house as well. Us adults had the most relaxing time in the outdoor island kitchen that was big and roomy for nice quiet evening dinners, morning cofee on the balcony's and just hanging out throughout the house was great! The rooms were all masters, (which were big and spacious) except for 1 which was a regular room. The bathrooms were all big and very comfortable, as well The big tv's were a plus and the huge, stocked kitchen was awesome! I would recommend this house to any family that wants to get away to paradise.... The owner (Rosi) was great to work with as well. She was always on top of us making sure that we had what we needed and then some. Great Place you have there Rosi!!!!! We hope to be back next year. We are already planning on it. Thanks again

Your property is amazing. We had a great vacation in August- great weather, fishing, snorkeling, and we really enjoyed the private beach. The house was amazing and beautiful- definitely top of the line! The best part was enjoying a morning cup of coffee on the balcony with a great breeze and grilling fish in the evenings on the bbq. The children loved seeing and feeding the manatees off the dock in the back. We were a family of 8 and had plenty of room to relax. You have a fabulous property close to great restaurants and attractions. We can't wait to book our next vacation to the Florida Keys at your property. Thank you Rosi for renting us an unforgetable location for our vacation!!

This was a perfect house for us (one couple and a family of four adults). Having a master bedroom on the main floor was an ideal arrangment for the couple, and then the two master bedrooms and guest room on the third floor gave the family their own privacy. The open plan kitchen/dining/family room was a great size for all of us to relax and lounge around after a day of diving (huge TV and big comfy chairs). And we all got to watch the manatees swimming up the canal outside from the balcony! Overall, we made an excellent choice for our week in Key Largo. Everyone in our group commented on how perfect it was for our needs. We recommend this house 100%. PS A dishwasher would have been a big plus, but did not detract from our stay.

The location of this rental was excellent. Anything that you might want to see, do, or eat was within a five minute drive. This was a great place off the main road, but very easy to get to. The house was warm, inviting, and spacious. With four balconies, it was easy to watch the fireworks all around us that night. The summer kitchen provided many enjoyable evenings of outside dining. Rosi's attentiveness made us feel like we were visiting relatives, not being boarders. We would rent this again, and are talking with friends about another trip next year.

To begin, we had great service from Rosy- the owner. When we arrived at our destination, this beautiful clay colored home stood out beneath the bright blue suuny sky- this home is a palace. As soon as we arrived a group of 4 manatees came to greet us in the backyard canal (what a magical way to start a trip!). Very clean, well decorated, comfortable- and felt like home. We were a group of 8 and had perfect space/bedding. Also, we had a bar-B-Q every night in the lovely outdoor area. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood with very friendly neighbors, including nice quests such as the manatees..... I'm still reliving my week in key Largo- Thank you Rosy!!!

The home is every bit is advertised and more. Imagine playing on the beach a block away--coming home to grill on the perfect covered patio with an outdoor kitchen to die for (not to be outdone by the indoor kitchen). Grilling fresh seafood from the nearby fish market. Take a break from dining to swim right off the patio in the canal with a dozen manatees. Don't imagine it--stay at this home! Enjoy breakfast on your choice of 4 decks. Watch a movie on a scrren almost as big as at the movie theatre. Tire of everyone--plenty of room to find a spot by yourself. Very quiet neighborhood. Close to the state park and great snorkeling including Christ of the Deep. Not too far to drive to Key West for a day. And you don't have to get up early to catch a flight out of Miami.

The house was awesome. We are a group of firefighters from Orlando who took a shift trip together. The house fit the whole group without feeling crowded. The kids loved it. The manatees were awesome. Our first day there, the came right up and we fed them water. It made for some great photos. You cant get this close at an aquarium. The best feature of the house, the outside patio/grill area. We ate dinner outside every night. It was comfy and felt like home. The patio was a great place to hang and chat with the neighbors. They are friendly and the area is very quiet. An awesome find and get vacation. Rosi couldn't have taken better care of us. Thanks again The Firefighters

Hi Rosi Just wanted to share with everyone what a great time we had when we rented your beautiful home for the first week of March. There were two other couples with us and we all had our own rooms and private baths. This was a real bonus, and after looking through hundreds of listings, I finally found these amenities. The location was perfect with the balconies overlooking the canal and the manatees visiting everyday. Leo and I love Key Largo, but this was the first time there for all the other couples. We were close enough to go into Miami and down all the other keys exploring. We will definitely recommend this to all of our friends. 6 Thumbs Up. Tammie and Leo

This house is beautiful. It is very spacious and comfortable. It really felt like home. The neighborhood was quiet and everyone we talked to was very nice. The location is perfect.......very close to a grocery store as well as lots of great restaurants. Most of the other reviews mention the manatees. They were great! They came by several times a day for a drink of water. So cute! We felt like we had pets for the week. The outside grill area was a great feature. One of the neighbors told us about a local fish market. We went there and put the grill to good use! It was so relaxing to cook at home and eat outside.....and watch the manatees! The inside of the house has everything you could ask for. All the comforts of home. There are balconies off several rooms, which was great. Rosi was great. Extremely helpful....if we ever needed anything we just had to call. We will definitely be back and have already recommended to our friends and family!

My family came and stayed during February School Vacation. WThe house was/is beautiful! There was plenty of room for everyone. We ranged in ages from 1 to 67. We had to bring a porta crib with us for the baby; otherwise sleeping accommodations were plentiful and comfortable. The outside kitchen area was awesome, we cooked out there just about every night. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. The beach was small but ok; you will need water shoes; or at least we did. The most awesome part was the manatees! We started out with patting them and giving them water through a hose and eventually some of us got to swim with them! They were so calm and gentle! One, Maybelle, even rolled over so she could have her belly rubbed! Rosi was kind and helpful; I wish I could have had a chance to meet her. If I were to go to the Keys again, this would be the place I would want to stay! Thank you Rosi for letting us stay in your home!

Two thumbs up on this house and particularly Rosi, its owner. The house is very spacious with a fun/warm decor and lots of wonderful features, including a big grill and a deck overlooking the canal, where we saw a number of manatees. (There is also a flat screen tv in every room and a huge one in the main area, for those rainy days.) On the first night, we accidentally set the alarm off and called Rosi in a panic (her poor neighbors). Rosi responded asap, and was awfully gracious. (Thank you, Rosi!)

Wow! What a great vacation we just had. This house and property was everything Rosi said it would be, plus more. We arrived with our family of 7 on Christmas Eve and stayed through to New Years Eve. It was a great thrill on Christmas morning to be greeted by the manatee's. The whole family gathered on the deck and enjoyed the warm sun and the gentleness of the manatees and their families. One of the memeories I carried home with me is us sitting under the deck on the back patio playing cards at night and enjoying the Florida breeze. The outdoor kitchen is remarkable and the guys grilled practically everyday. The televisions are huge and are in every room. The house had everything a family should need and was very clean. This was a very relaxing vacation for all of us and I will recommend this house and Rosi to all my friends. Thank you so much for your generoustiy and allowing us to celebrate with a great Christmas Florida vacation.

We spent the entire week of our Thanksgiving holiday @ Rosi's house in Key Largo. We had three teenage girls with us and they had a great time. The highlight of our 16 year old's entire trip were the manatees. She loved them. They came every day. The house was beautiful. It was better than we expected after seeing pics and talking to Rosi. We found great restaurants. We were able to snorkel, parasail, fish and made several visits to the private beach. The weather was beautiful. I would recommend this property to all of our friends and relatives. Rosi was wonderful to work with. She made sure we had everything we needed and was so helpful with any questions we had. We hope to return to Key Largo sometime in the future. Thanks, Rosi!!!!

We had the chance to stay two weeks to this beautiful property far away from home. Travelling with mentally handicapped children and caretaker, this house was absolutely perfect for our needs: number of bedrooms and bathrooms, equipment, accessability etc. If we will have the chance to come again we will absolutely try to stay here again. Thanks very much for your warm care, Rosi!

I didn't want to leave, but back to reality. So for anyone looking for a nice house and reasonably, this one is it. Thanks Rosi and Oscar for making our stay so wonderful and relaxing.

We stayed at the house from June 14-21 and had a great time. It was 10 adults and 3 small children we saw a manatee in the back canal we all swam with and gave water too. We had a great big end of trip bbq and a fish fry from all the fish we caught in the canal. The men did enjoy snorkeling in the canal as well. The house was a fun maze of hide and seek for the children. Its was close enough for us to take a trip down to south beach and to Key West. We love the area and would tell everyone to come and stay. It was truly a great vacation.

Thank you so much for your wonderful home. We had 9 people and the accommodations were terrific. The location was close to stores and other attractions. The view was great and the neighbors so friendly. We loved getting to see the manatees close up as they were right there in the canal. Staying together in a house brought us all closer together and strengthened our friendships. This was the trip of a lifetime. The snorkeling was terrific and our day at Key West was fantastic. So much fun stuff to do from a central location made the week a memory of a lifetime!! We look forward to next year!!

My family of 12 recently stayed in this beautiful 3 story oasis. We had the best time and still can't believe all the ammenities that were offered for the outstanding price. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax, which is hard to do when travelling with 12 people! We used the downstairs party area every night for grilling and fishing. We caught more fish off the back slip then we did when we chartered a fishing boat! The children(and adults) loved petting the manateas that came every night for a drink off of the hose. The house was beautifuly decorated and came with flat screen in every room. I have spread the word here in Las Vegas of this gem in the Keys and plan to make this a regular vacation spot! Bethany P.S. Rosi is wonderful to deal with!!!!!

I am the owner of this beautiful 3 story house!!! We have had a couple of incidents in the neighborhood in the last 2 weeks that has really upset all of the owners. We have had some inconsiderate, disresprectahle, misbehavied adults in Spring Break that have caused the cops to be called several times and that causes a disruption in the neightborhood. Keep in mind, that this is a quiet, enjoyable neighborhood and we would like to keep it that way. Please if you want to rent this lovely home, be aware that if this happens in our home, you will be evicted and the rest of your rental fees and costs will not be reimbursed and you will BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY!!!!!

The house was really nice & very clean. We slept 11 (6 adults & 5 children) and you can fit 3 cars. The layout of the house and furnishing are great. The decks off the living room & bedrooms were nice and big with seating. Great for morning coffee. The outdoor BBQ area was nice with huge grill and plenty of seating. We saw manatees in the canal. The kids can catch small fish right from the dock. The small beach area is only a couple of blocks away and was better than I expected. the house is close to shopping, attractions etc... The neighbors are close but everyone was friendly or not in town. Great house for big family or large group.

We had a wonderful stay in this house in early January 2009. The house is absolutely gorgeous and has every amenity and extra you could possibly want. I highly recommend staying here - its far superior to any hotel accomodation in the area - and Rosi is great!

The set up downstairs in the patio area is to die for with the built in grills and furniture. Rosi, the owner, was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and other information. I would stay here again. Thanks Rosi!

On New Years Eve we could see the fireworks from 3 of the 4 balconies. We saw manatees on several days, at one point we had 8 at the back of the house drinking from the hose. The neighborhood was very quite and the locals were very friendly. Rosi and Oscar were great hosts! We would stay here again.

This house is fabulous!! Even better than the pictures show. The house is decorated very tastefully contemporary, yet very comfy. Even a wine cooler. I absolutely loved the private balcony off the master bedroom to sit and watch the manatees. The many levels give it that roomy feeling so everyone can spread out and not be on top of each other. We were in Key Largo for a wedding and hosted a BBQ for 25 people in the "party" area-lots of room and everyone was soooo impressed. Rozy was so sweet and helpful and considerate; checking on us to be sure we got in and everything was fine. You won't be disappointed staying here.

We were lucky enough to stay at Rosi's beautiful home right before Christmas. Our family, my sister's family and my mother had the most amazing time sitting on the decks and dining in the downstairs grilling area. Each of the rooms are decorated beautifully and the big screen tvs were a hit with everyone. This was a home that felt like home when you walked in the door. The last day we were there we had a mama manatee and calf drinking fresh water from the hose...it was great! Each of our family members had different activities to keep us busy when we wanted, but it was nice to come "home" and relax. Rosi is wonderful and we couldn't have been happier. Rosi, will you consider adopting us? We'll be back!

The kitchen was clean and large. The the deck area with grill and seating was the perfect place for dinner and relaxing after a day of diving, the dive boats are only a 10 min. ride from the house. This house is by far the best in the area. We even got to swim with a manatee off the dock of the house. I hope we can hook up with Rosi on next dive trip Sam B

What a beautiful house!! Our group of 14 friends stayed at Rosi's house the first week of August 2008 for our annual college reunion vacation. It was such a great idea to rent this property - there was tons of room, the condition was immaculate, and the setup was perfect for any large gathering. The outdoor party area was perfect for all our needs, with tables, grills, and refrigerators galore. Easy to get to any store or activity you need, including grocery stores, snorkeling, and backwater fishing. We had such a great time and experience - and know the amazing house was one of the best parts! Rosi was so helpful throughout and it was a pleasure to rent from her. I would recommend this house to anyone who likes the Keys and wants a very convenient and quality vacation home. Enjoy!

Its is perfect for any age. My son drove in with his family from Arkansas. My grandchildren are age 2 months to 14 yrs and they all had a ball as well as my two teens. It is located perfectly to see the sights. We went to Key West, the Everglades, Miami, and my son played golf in Key Biscayne. I am the owner of this lovely 3 story home in Key Largo built in 2006. We had some renters this past weekend (4/26 - 4/29) which I would say I was "Appalled" by their behaviorly manners and the way that they had no "Consideration" for other people's personal property. They broke some items in the house, left over 40 beer cans thrown throughout the balconies and/or outside kitchen area that left alot to say for these 25 - 28 year old men. There was dirty dishes, etc, all over the kitchen and counter that we could not find the sink, to which when we did, it was loaded with food and had clogged the sink as well. You would figure that they that they are supposed to be "Men not Boys". I was brought up to respect and take care of what you are given the opportunity to borrow and enjoy, not to destroy it. They have for the record LOST their Security Deposit. I would love to give any and all renters the opportunity to spend some time in my lovely house, (this here is truly Paradise, but not if you are not able to respect. I dont want these kind of renters. Thanks, Rosi

This house was wonderful--our whole extended family stayed there for a week, and it was perfect. It was a really good house for children--our 2 1/2 year old enjoyed playing on the porches, but they were safe outdoor places where we could easily watch her whether we were inside or outside, so that was perfect. The house is spotlessly clean and well-stocked, and close to everything in Key Largo. It's also in a quiet neighborhood, and has good parking. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Key Largo.
