Vacation Rental Description
Come and enjoy our beautiful vacation home. The property is very convenient for both Disney and the beaches – you can do door to door to Orlando in 45 minutes. There's also condos / homes in Orlando at Ventura Country Club for rent with it’s own 18 hole golf course if you would like to have a two venue vacation. The condos are 7 day minimum rental. The greens fees are a steal and Ventura has one of the best kept courses in Orlando! . Our home has been renovated to a high standard. We spend all our free time here and hate when we have to leave! It sits on half a fenced acre. You are welcome to park your boat/RV behind the gates
. The property is decorated in a contemporary style. We retained some of the original features i.e. the original hardwood floors, interior French doors and fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped for entertaining – stainless steel appliances, gas range, wine refrigerator etc. The breakfast room is great for your early morning coffee. There is an enclosed porch off the breakfast room. The TV is located in the small den which overlooks the completely walled/fenced private garden. There is a living room with dining area off the kitchen. The main bedroom has two full size beds and the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. Maximum occupancy is 4 persons and absolutely non-smoking. The bathroom was gutted and is now very fresh and clean. With approx 1300sq ft of under air living space you will not be cramped. For your enjoyment and convenience there are 4 TV's (2 of them are flat panel HDTV) and free WIFI high speed broadband Internet. Bring your laptop so you can stay in touch with the world! There is no garage but we have ample parking under our majestic trees and behind the gates. The property is located very close to the Indian River and Historic downtown Titusville. Convenience stores and restaurants are practically on the doorstep for your convenience. If you love the beach, fishing, wildlife, nature this is the place for you! And don’t forget the Kennedy Space Center where you can see the world's most advanced technologies including the Space Shuttles
**The cottage has 2 large glass topped tables that just lay on the bases that could be a hazard to very young children. Property probably unsuitable for small children.
Facilities
Twenty seven miles of undeveloped barrier island provide the pristine Atlantic beaches of Playalinda, Klondike and Apollo. It is a major destination for bird lovers. The beaches are known world-wide for excellent surfing. This is part of the largest sea turtle nesting area in the US. Titusville is a world class fishing location with over 500 species of marine fish found in the Indian River Lagoon, and over 100 species of fresh water fish found in the St. John's River. The Atlantic Ocean holds a variety of big game fish and you will enjoy trolling for Dolphin, King Mackerel, Wahoo, Sail Fish, or bottom fishing for Grouper, Snapper, and Cobia. Port Canaveral is home to a number of cruise ships, offshore fishing charters, party fishing boats, casino boats and dining venues. This area is a must-see for all visitors to the Space Coast. And don’t forget the Dixie Crossroads Seafood Restaurant. You don’t even need a car to get to it!

The Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge contains more endangered plants and animals than any other wildlife refuge in the US including the West Indian Manatee, Florida Scrub Jay, Gopher Tortoise and Indigo Snake. More than 5,000 alligators live on Merritt Island. The Indian River Lagoon system has more species of plants and animals than any other North American estuary. Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Kennedy Space Center are truly a gateway to Florida's past and future. Numerous golf courses in the area. Some of the most pristine beaches you will ever see! Orlando International Airport 42 miles, Daytona International 45 miles, Melbourne International 45 miles. 35 miles to Cocoa Beach, 45 miles to Daytona Beach, 41 miles to Downtown Orlando, half a mile to the Marina, 8 miles to the beach, 18 miles to Cruise port and deep sea fishing. Don't forget the Kennedy Space Center.
