Vacation Rental Description
Pelican Roost has what beachside homes should - decks to enjoy coffee while watching the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean. Decks to bask in the sun. A Private Pool in a screened enclosure. A romantic screened Treehouse Deck above the pool - perfect for "dinner out". A short walk to the beach.
Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, stove with oven, microwave and side by side refrigerater and freezer. Dishes, glasses, silverware, cookware, it should all be here. 2 full baths, one on each floor. 3 bedrooms, 2 with king beds, 1 with a queen. A den with 2 singles (sofas that open up to singles) and a queen sized convertible sofa in the living room. Linens and towels are furnished for you.
Equipped with a washer and dryer. We have a small garage. A patio out front. The kitchen and living areas are on the top floor for views of the ocean. Wireless internet is in the house for those of us who can't get away from our emails or work. Cable TV and phone are there for you as well.
Come to the beach and enjoy! It's always sunny at the beach!
So much to do in the St. Augustine area. We are a short 15 minute drive to old town St. Augustine and it's assortment of marvelous restaurants and shopping. Visit the Alligator Farm nearby. visit the St. Augustine Lighthouse. Go into town and visit the Fountain of Youth! Hit one of the local beach restaurants, South Beach Grill, Saltwater Cowboys... mmm, good! Head west toward Rt. 95 and shop the outlet malls. Daytona Beach is about a 45 minute drive south along beautiful Route A1A. Visit Marineland and swim with the dolphins, approx. 15 minutes south of Pelican Roost.
St. Augustine probably has whatever it is you are looking for. It can be a very slow, laid back beachy area, or you can fill it with activities to tire you out daily! Give us a try.
We would love to have you stay at the Roost!
We normally rent weekly from Saturday to Saturday. We will certainly talk about longer or shorter stays, please ask.
