Vacation Rental Description
Our cottage was built in the 1940's as a fisherman's retreat. It remains true to its simple origins although we have rebuilt it over the years to be comfortable and modern. We chose not to erase its "old Florida" character--retaining tin roof, wide pine planks, and louvered shutters. A large new deck faces the waterview and provides a perfect corner of breezy peace. Under the living space is a large enclosed area for storage, fishing or sailing gear or hobby center. The house is surrounded by a tropical garden planted in flowers, banana, and palms which slopes down to the waters edge--where the DOCK begins.

- Travel Info: Our cottage is a perfect refuge
for one person or a couple, who want to enjoy a
relaxed “barefoot” ambiance, year-round

boats pass by from the waterside dock.
It is located in the casual little town of Micco, Florida - where the beautiful, still
natural St. Sebastian River flows into the Indian
River Lagoon/Intracoastal Waterway. It is one sea
mile from the open Atlantic through the Sebastian
Inlet, but the property is protected from ocean
surges by narrow barrier islands.
