There are sooo many activies and points of interest in this small quaint town, that they are too numerous to mention. A leisurly walk through "old downtown" and then "new downtown" would take more than a few days. A visit to the stone ruins by the river, the welcome center and the newly renovated museum is easy to do as they are all in the same vincinity, by the west side of the river on the mainland. Also close by an informative pontoon boat ride is offered, that is run by the history and nature society.also kayaks tours. Of course fishing boats are for hire with and with out pilots.Daytona too, has sooo much to offer, ~~~ it is 15 minutes away by #95 express way.. Beach and water implements of any nature can be rented for reasonable fees."Canaveral Sea Shore" has nature trails, beaches( in cluding a nude beach far away from the entrance) with parking, and historical points of interest~a fee is charged, or a pass is needed to enter .the park.
