Three min. away across the Indian River waterway inlet is the charming, old town of Stuart which has been beautifully landscaped and has wonderful antique stores, theater, cinema, great ice cream parlors, bars and many excellent restaurants. In 2 hours you can reach Disney World and Epcot. If you are lucky for a shuttle launching from Cape Canaveral, you can see the awesome lights from the shoreline.
