INDOOR APPOINTMENTS ~The main living/dining area has dining for 6, conversation pit, queen sleeper sofa, working fireplace, ceiling fan, flat-panel LCD TV/DVD with free cable service, vaulted ceilings, 2 skylights & lots of windows. In the fully equipped chefs kitchen you’ll find s-s appliances & granite counters, salt & pepper, paper goods, cleaning/laundry soaps, and a dining guide. French doors open from the kitchen into the screened Garden Room…affording an extraordinary entertainment venue containing 2nd dining/living area. The ‘Bamboo’ bedroom features bamboo 4-poster bed and chests, extra wide armchair/foot rest, and skylight shower in bathroom….views of the gardens & bed netting lend to the feel of an Indonesian rainforest adventure. The 2nd bathroom features a roman Jacuzzi tub, phone, and linen closet…beach towels of course. There are 3 additional phone sets in the Cottage…and free long distance service. The “Indian Elephant” bedroom is done up with brass 4-poster & elephant accessories. Cottage walls are adorned with faux painted surfaces, art, and many fine details throughout (see if you can find the mermaids). We even provide 2 umbrellas…after-all, it is a rainforest.

OUTDOOR APPOINTMENTS~ We’re not sure which category the Garden Room falls into…indoor or outdoor….because it so seamlessly brings the two together. In either case it’s a place to enjoy the comforts of indoors…outdoors. If you want to take it a step further…then make your way into the back garden & enjoy conversation around the firepit or under the jungle umbrella, feed the squirrels & birds, or char up a meal on the BBQ. Nite-time ushers in a completely different venue…the gardens lit by tiki torches.

LOTS of bamboo inside. LOTS of flowers & nature outside.

AREA ~Centrally located..the cottage is on a quiet street in an executive neighborhood known as Victoria Park. It’s the sort of place where you’ll see mom’s strolling their babies, friends jogging in unison or with their dogs, and people lounging on porch swings. This is also a gay friendly area, only a block from Pineapple Point Resort. The cottage is just a few blocks to the dining/shopping of famed LasOlas Blvd or Downtown. Victoria Cottage is also convenient to Wilton Manors, the Broward Center of Performing Arts, Riverwalk, Science & Art Museums, and many other cultural activities. The one mile bicycle ride to the beach will take you past streams of yachts and mansions. In a word…this neighborhood is top notch!
