One bedroom, 1 bath Beach Front condo “sleeps 4 sand at door.” Located in Indian Rocks Beach near the intersection of State Hwy 688 and Gulf Blvd. 7 miles south of Clearwater Beach

Natural light in every room. Large porch with table, chairs, grill and towel rack. computer with High Speed Internet access, 2 Free long distance phones and 2 TV's with extra cable channels. A small library including reference books for Florida's birds, plants, animals, sea life and shell's. A file of local destinations and restaurants. Owner retired educator, there will be a test on these facts.

Many museums and art galleries as well as many interesting side trips to mermaids, glass bottom boats,Lippizone stallions, circus curiosities, A Greek sponge diving community as well as English pubs and Scottish shops. There is also an active metaphysical community scattered about the area, featuring churches and shops.

Travel Info: Indian Rocks Beach is a friendly little beach town. There are restaurants and parks within walking distance. The beach trolley runs the length of the 20 mile long barrier island and a bus over the small bridge to the mainland. We have a post office, museum and a few small groceries. The beach is large and stretches for miles in either direction. Usually the moon is bright enough to cast moon shadows. We are a turtle beach and the 200 to 300 pound turtles come ashore to nest from May to October.

The State and County Taxes equal 12%, The cleaning fee is $80, There is no damage deposit (all of my guests have been very thoughtful). A 50 % deposit will hold your reservation and you may pay the balance upon arrival. I accept checks, money orders or cash. If you have to cancel I will return all of your money if I rent the dates to another party. The best pricing is a Saturday to Saturday rental for 2 people.

Truly a rental by owner.

I bought my little place when I was living with my brother for a few months while finishing some required research at USF in Tampa. I was looking for a place to rent, but took one look out the sliders and fell in love. I have never been sorry. For the past 18 years my little "Shack" has brought me more joy every year.

When you visit you too will feel the happiness inside the walls of the "Shack", and if you're like most people you will be astonded everytime that you look out and see the beauty of the sand and water.

There are quite a few picture albums of former guests. Some groups appear several times, because many guests return.
I live a mile away and am a phone call away. I will make many suggestions about where to eat and sight see, but most people do not want to leave the beach.
