Welcome to Tranquility - our DSL-equipped waterfront vacation condo on the Gulf of Mexico in Cedar Key Florida. Enjoy Florida without the mouse!  
 
Our third floor (top floor!), north-facing, corner condo has a private balcony, gourmet kitchen, king and queen bedrooms, and two baths set in a small, quiet, condo complex. Furnishings were chosen to impart a feeling of peace and tranquility to complement the breathtaking panoramic views of Florida's Nature Coast. 
 
Tranquility is equipped for your comfort and convenience. Professionally and luxuriously decorated, enjoy our laid back environment - relax and forget your daily cares.  
 
Our private balcony offers a stunning view of small mangrove islands, Wacassassa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy the sunrise every morning. Sip a drink while watching the summer sunsets. Pull-down bamboo shades and a ceiling fan are provided for comfort in the late afternoons. We enjoy breakfast and dinner on the balcony while watching the birds on the flats. At high tide, we're often visited by dolphins as they fish along the shore.  
 
Our condo is furnished to make it easy to vacation - our kitchen is well kitted out for the folks who enjoy cooking their catch or seafood from our local fish markets. Our linens are comfortable and elegant. We have plenty of pillows, lots of big fluffy towels, and pool towels to cut down on what you will need to pack. A small selection of board games, books, magazines, and CDs and DVDs will help you relax if you get a rainy day.

    • Tranquility is equipped for your comfort and convenience, our 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium is a corner unit on the third floor with a private balcony and a spectacular view. In particular, we've tried to accommodate the harried professional, who must stay in touch with business, even while trying to escape for a short while. We know from personal experience that it's much easier to relax in the serenity of the setting knowing things are humming along nicely in the outside world. Free DSL (wired and WiFi), computer, large monitor, keyboard, and printer/fax/scanner are available for guest use. Just plug in your laptop and go! Our amenity list is extensive - we really mean it when we say all you need to do is pack your toothbrush, clothes, sunscreen, and food!

    • Birdwatching is our favorite activity. Fishing - both inshore and offshore is excellent in Florida's Big Bend - known for excellent red fish, grouper, trout, and more. Golf carts are available for rent. Bikes, scooters, kayaks, and motor boats are also available for rent by the hour or day. Many local wildlife tours, fishing charters, and other eco-tourism opportunities abound. We are located within walking distance of most of the town - 2 blocks to the marina. 3 blocks from the shopping district. Less than a block from the city beach and park (great playground for kids!)
