Villa Florentine is a charming three story Mediterranean design property with three balconies and its own private swimming pool set in gated tropical gardens. Situated on a quiet avenue near to two other vacation properties, Villa Montebello and the pretty Villa Tuscany, with views towards the bay waters of Anna Maria Sound. The brick paved driveway leads through magnificent wrought iron gates, flanked either side by handmade entrance lights created by local craftsmen to our own design. Fronting the villa, the peachy color washed walls are accented with crisp white Italian style decorative balustrading. Lushly landscaped grounds are planted with flowering hibiscus, jasmine, bougainvillea and native palms. Light pastel colorwashed walls are accented by green window shutters, crested with handcarved solid wood corbels fashioned from timber grown in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains and topped by a low pitch clay barrel tile roof.
Tucked away behind the villa you can relax in the garden beside your own private electrically heated swimming pool, lay back and soak up the Florida sunshine on the loungers. Attractively furnished, Villa Florentine has comfortable beds and good quality linens.
Just four minutes' stroll from the glorious white sand beaches of Anna Maria Island FL and a couple of minutes from the bay where you can fish, picnic or enjoy watching the sailboats. Close to all facilities: doctor, dentist, bank, supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, pub, cafe and other shops all within nearby easy walking distance. The draw bridge that connects the island to the mainland is just a minute's drive away.
From the entryway, ascend the solid oak staircase leading towards the light and airy open plan living area. A glass door leads out on to a large saltillo tiled balcony/deck area; perfect for dining in the balmy Florida air or watching the Gulf Coast's famous sunsets. In the living room, sink into either of two three-seater comfortable sofas scattered with plump pillows. Furnishings are light washed oak and there are attractive custom built accents. The flooring is easy care solid wood Canadian maple.
For your entertainment there is cable TV, DVD & CD player. The dual system quiet central air conditioning can be individually controlled on each floor. Keep in touch with friends, business and family via DSL Hi-Speed internet and telephone.
The fully equipped kitchen has a ceramic top range, microwave, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and large refrigerator/freezer. the maple wood kitchen cabinets are amply supplied with pots, pans, dishes and flatware, plus small appliances. There is a separate laundry room containing large capacity washing machine & dryer, iron and ironing board.
All of the beds have thick comfortable mattresses and good quality linens. The Master bedroom suite has a king size poster bed, again in light washed oak finish topped with a luxury quilt. Laze in the comfortable chaise looking out of the glass slider doors towards the bay or enjoy an early morning cup of coffee on your own private balcony. There is also a walk in closet and private bathroom. Bedroom two has a private bath room, queen size bed topped with a beautiful quilt set and a walk in closet. Beside this bedroom a glass door leads out on to a balcony with beautiful sunset views. Bedroom three leads off from the living area with two comfortable twin beds and its own bathroom.
The Master bathroom has a jacuzzi style spa bath, separate shower and classic Victorian style fixtures including two wash hand basins. Bathrooms two and three have shower bathrooms. Bathrooms are all supplied with freshly laundered towels.

All along the island you will find bike paths, marinas, water sports, sailboats, tennis courts and broad sweeping expanses of peaceful uncrowded beaches overlooking the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Quaint turn-of-the-century fishing piers are a great place to drop a fishing line, walk off a sumptuous meal or pass the time of day with the locals. Our protected beaches are home to loggerhead turtles, pelicans and herons and it is common to see dolphins playing in the waters of the Gulf.
Dining on the island is a culinary adventure with everything from casual beach cafes for breakfast or lunch, to fine restaurants with an international reputation. There are plenty of small shops and boutiques to browse around for gifts, craft items, silver and distinctive casual clothes. Just over on the mainland is the vibrant city of Bradenton and with Tampa and Orlando just a drive away, you can easily spend a day at Disney or Busch Gardens.

Low Season Price : £900 High Season Price : £1300 per Week
A $250 non refundable fee is charged to your credit card at the time of booking. This is part of the total cost of your reservation. A 25% deposit is payable within seven days of receipt of the reservation form. Final balance due must be received by 90 days prior to arrival. If the reservation is made within the 90 days prior to arrival, the full payment is due and payable immediately. All funds should made payable to Anna Maria Vacations. (For non US residents the accommodation is quoted in US dollars. Any amounts quoted in UK pounds or Euros are for guidance purposes. The US dollar rate prevails.) In the event of cancellation refunds are subject to Anna Maria Vacations’ ability to re-rent the property for the dates you reserved.
