The elegant Mediterranean style Villa Miranda is a three bedroom/three bathroom property with its own pool. Entered by hand-crafted wrought iron gates, it has beautifully landscaped gardens with tall palms and flowering tropical plants. Roman style brick paving has been laid in the main drive, the walkways and around the private swimming pool. A waterfall feature cascades into the pool and the pale mint washed walls and bright white trim of the villa are accented by curved arch top windows.
Park in the cool of the large garage and walk in through the main entrance to find pale golden maple hardwood floors, two gorgeous Master suites and two large balconies edged with Italian balustrades. Villa Miranda is constructed to a high specification with 9 ft 6" ceilings, triple crown moldings, hand crafted oak staircases and dual central air systems.
There is TV in every room, DVD and CD player. It features DSL Hi-Speed internet access and telephone to keep in daily contact with family, friends and business.
The living area is is open plan with its plush, deep comfortable sofas strewn with scatter pillows, a grandfather clock and antique style pine furniture. Sit back and enjoy cable TV/DVD or listen to your favorite CDs. Glass sliders lead out onto a large balcony with patio dining table and chairs for informal dining in the open air. Telephone/fax and DSL high speed internet access on the desk will keep you in touch with friends, family and business.
A few stairs lead down to the dining area in the tower: the triple aspect windows overlooking the garden and palm trees make a great spot for eating in. The decor in this room includes chandelier type lighting over the dining table, solid ponderosa pine furniture and large china cabinet.
The kitchen solid maple wood kitchen comes fully equipped with range, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The cabinets contain pots, pans, dishes, silverware and small appliances. So, if after a busy day at the beach or around the pool contemplating whether to sample one of the many excellent local restaurants, use the barbecue grill to cook out by the swimming pool or to eat in the tower dining room, you decide to eat at the Villa you can prepare anything from a light snack to a full scale dinner.
Pop down to Publix for some great steaks or the nearby Cortez fishing village for fresh seafood, salads, fresh vegetables, a really excellent deliicatessen and the best bakery in Florida. Try their white mountain bread and fresh baked croissants.
The Master Bedroom Suite 1 has a huge king size antique style pine bed, private bathroom and a large closet with a couple of twin pillow topped mattresses stores in case you have a couple of extra visitors. Glass sliders lead out onto a private balcony with loungers for relaxing quietly with an early morning coffee or escaping for a quiet read in the afternoon.
The romantic Master Bedroom suite two in the tower has a king size poster bed, large closet and private bathroom with a large oval whirlpool spa tub for two and shower. Bedroom three has two twin beds and a private bathroom.

All along the island you will find bike paths, marinas, water sports, sailboats, tennis courts and broad sweeping expanses of peaceful uncrowded beaches overlooking the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Quaint turn-of-the-century fishing piers are a great place to drop a fishing line, walk off a sumptuous meal or pass the time of day with the locals. Our protected beaches are home to loggerhead turtles, pelicans and herons and it is common to see dolphins playing in the waters of the Gulf.
Dining on the island is a culinary adventure with everything from casual beach cafes for breakfast or lunch, to fine restaurants with an international reputation. There are plenty of small shops and boutiques to browse around for gifts, craft items, silver and distinctive casual clothes. Just over on the mainland is the vibrant city of Bradenton and with Tampa and Orlando just a drive away, you can easily spend a day at Disney or Busch Gardens.

The driveway, walkways and around the pool are all topped with Roman style brick pavers and the landscaping is lush and full of flowering tropical plants including bougainvillae, hibiscus, oleanders. Tall palms sway in gentle breezes while you relax by the pool. The pool company call twice a week to make sure the swimming pool and waterfall are kept in the best condition possible for guests.
Just three minutes' walk from your front gates lies the gorgeous stretch of seven miles of white sand beaches that string out along Anna Maria Island's west coast. There is a great little place here called Cafe on the Beach - they serve breakfast that you can eat with your feet in the sands. The trolley stops here so you can ride up and down the island free of charge and if you do want to have your car close by for elderly relatives or very small children then there is parking under the pine trees.

A $250 non refundable fee is charged to your credit card at the time of booking. This is part of the total cost of your reservation. A 25% deposit is payable within seven days of receipt of the reservation form. Final balance due must be received by 90 days prior to arrival. If the reservation is made within the 90 days prior to arrival, the full payment is due and payable immediately. All funds should made payable to Anna Maria Vacations. (For non US residents the accommodation is quoted in US dollars. Any amounts quoted in UK pounds or Euros are for guidance purposes. The US dollar rate prevails.) In the event of cancellation refunds are subject to Anna Maria Vacations’ ability to re-rent the property for the dates you reserved.
