This bayfront classical island design five bedroom/five bathroom house with all-floor elevator sits right on the edge of the water with spectacular panoramic views out over Anna Maria Sound. At night the lights over on the mainland twinkle in the distance over the moonlit water. During the day time see for dolphins playing in the wakes of boats and sailboats drifting leisurely by. The Waterside House has a boat and fishing dock so if you are fishermen just throw a line off the end - it is also a great spot to sit out and enjoy an early evening cocktail at sunset and contemplate the amazing variety of colors that light upt the sky and are reflected in the water. The property is constructed to a high specification and has 2,500 sq ft of air conditioned living area which is accessed via the elevator. Additionally, the entire ground floor is a large garage providing cool undercover parking, an electric heat pumpmaintains the swimming pool at a minimum 86 degrees year round and the three balconies all have paddle fans to provide cooling breezes on warm summer evenings.  
Larger parties will enjoy the open plan social nature of the layout and vacations with family and friends at The Waterside House will befondly remembered - space, plenty of bathrooms, comfortable beds and agreat pool. 
The Waterside House is decorated throughout with good quality island style furnishings, pretty quilts and good quality linens and has a large and fully equipped kitchen. The Master bedroom has a Jacuzzi type spa tub and separate shower. All other bathrooms all contain tub/shower. 
Enjoy spectacular views out over Anna Maria Sound towards the mainland, cook out on the grill beside your own private swimming pool, stroll over to the beach just a few minutes walk away. 
The large open plan living area with balcony overlooks the Gulf and has three comfortable sofas grouped together which make a perfect spot for catching up on everyones news or games. The decor is light and breezy with tropical accents and everywhere you turn there are gorgeous views. Larger parties will enjoy the open plan social nature of the layout , everyone can always find a quiet corner to read, listen to music, watch TV and just relax. 
When you are not having a cook-out by the pool or visiting one of Anna Maria Island's many great dining establishment, you have several different options for dining - the breakfast bar, the formal dining table or out on the balcony. There is TV, DVD and a CD player in the living area. Hi-speed DSL internet and the guest phone keeps you in touch with business, family and friends.  
The large modern spacious and well equipped kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, dishes, silverware and small appliances. The appliances include range, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The laundry has high capacity washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. 
The private Master bathroom has a Jacuzzi type spa tub and a separate shower. The other four bathrooms have a mix of tub/shower and shower, and all bathrooms are all supplied with freshly laundered towels.

The ground floor houses a large garage to keep your car cool out of the Florida sunshine. The pool is surrounded by a paving with loungers and a grill for cook-outs. Go down to the Cortez fishing village for fresh seafood or buy some delicious steaks from Publix just up the road, bring them back and put them on the grill - you won't taste anything better anywhere than food cooked outside in Florida! The pool area has great views of the water and you can walk right onto the long dock that extends out into Anna Maria Sound. If you enjoy fishing, cast a line off the end of the dock or just sit and watch the world sail by, dolphins and fish jumping and, if you are really lucky, you might catch a glimpse of a Manatee. A few minutes stroll takes you to the wide sandy beach access and right on to seven miles of white sand beaches that fringe the island.

All along the island you will find bike paths, marinas, water sports, sailboats, tennis courts and broad sweeping expanses of peaceful uncrowded beaches overlooking the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Quaint turn-of-the-century fishing piers are a great place to drop a fishing line, walk off a sumptuous meal or pass the time of day with the locals. Our protected beaches are home to loggerhead turtles, pelicans and herons and it is common to see dolphins playing in the waters of the Gulf.  
Dining on the island is a culinary adventure with everything from casual beach cafes for breakfast or lunch, to fine restaurants with an international reputation. There are plenty of small shops and boutiques to browse around for gifts, craft items, silver and distinctive casual clothes. Just over on the mainland is the vibrant city of Bradenton and with Tampa and Orlando just a drive away, you can easily spend a day at Disney or Busch Gardens.

A $250 non refundable fee is charged to your credit card at the time of booking. This is part of the total cost of your reservation.
