Lakeside Haven is situated within the spacious and tranquil neighborhood of 'Windward Cay', which is less than 1 mile to highway 192 on which there is an abundance of major stores, vast gift shops, international restaurants, buffets and take-aways, bars, mini golf, factory outlets, Walmart 24hr Supercentre and much more. For those visiting Disney it is just 5 miles away.
The villa is furnished and decorated to the highest standards and equipped with all the extras you would expect and MORE in a luxury home. i.e. poolside shower, four Cable TVs, four VCRs, DVDs, portable Hi-Fi with CD, PlayStation 2 with 2 pads, memory card and games, selection of Videos/DVDs, books, board games, 2-seater swing, pool fun toys - some to float on and some to play with (various balls etc). Radio/Alarm in each bedroom. Full Gas Barbecue (refundable 'cleaning' deposit required). Free hi-speed Wireless Internet. Free local telephone calls.
The accommodation comprises of a spacious fully fitted kitchen complete with large fridge/freezer (with auto ice-maker), dishwasher, microwave, coffee percolator, espresso/cappuccino maker, waffle maker, etc. dining area with seating for 8 people and patio door onto pool and spa.
The great room which has a cathedral ceiling and foliage cascading down the walls with accent lighting has the true Florida atmosphere. There is a 32 " flat screen Cable TV (over 60 channels), VCR, DVD, stereo HI-FI with CD, PlayStation 2 with 2 pads, memory card and games and a selection of DVD's and Videos. There is a variety of books, jig-saws and board games for all ages. The large sofa easily converts to a comfortable queen size sofa bed. There are 3 double bedrooms. The master bedroom with King size bed, ceiling fan and cable TV and VCR also has an en-suite bathroom with bath/shower, hair dryer, etc., and walk-in closet and patio doors opening directly onto the pool and spa. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom, in a "tweety" theme has twin beds. All have built-in wardrobes. The second bathroom is complete with bath/shower, hair dryer, etc. Radio/Alarm in each bedroom.
The large, private, south-facing, screened pool, spa and dining area is totally superb and is only a few yards from the lakeside where a wide variety of ducks and cranes regularly visit. There is plenty of room for sunbathing to your hearts content and the lighting around the pool area and the underwater lighting ensures that you can enjoy the pool and spa all night long - if you so wish. The neighbors at either side are over 30ft away.
The spacious outdoor dining area has an overhead fan and light. The patio furniture is comfortable with 6 padded chairs and a full size table, 4 full length loungers with deep padded cushions and a 2-seater swing with canopy. A full gas Barbeque may be used (we ask for a refundable 'cleaning' deposit) We have also fitted a poolside shower for your pleasure and convenience.
The pool and spa is usually pleasantly warm from April through to October. The heating may be switched on as an optional extra at any time of year. This you can decide before or after you arrive. Please note that the spa is not heated separately but there are 'bubble maker jets' which you may turn on whenever you wish.
The villa is fully air conditioned to keep you cool on hot days and for the occasional cool winter evening there is central heating.

Weeki Wachee Canoe & Kayak Rental - About 65 miles (but worth the trip): Paddle down the spring fed, crystal clear Weeki Wachee River in our canoes or kayaks. Water temperature average is 74°F year round. We offer a seven mile trip going with the flow of the river. Your self guided adventure averages about 2.5 hours with easy paddling and without stopping along the river. However you may take more time if you choose as long as you make it to our pick up point on time. We have taken this trip several times & it is highly recommended.
Outback Steakhouse : Well worth a visit if you enjoy really good steak cooked just as YOU like it. A friendly, family ranch style restaurant. Our favourite eating place.
Golden Corral Buffet & Restaurant - About 2 miles: A absolutely wonderful 'all you can eat' restaurant. The choice is almost endless & the quality is excellent. We recommend visiting this place when you are really hungry. Ideal for before or after a day at the theme parks.
