Vacation Rental Description
Emerald Island Resort is a prestigious gated & guarded community located on Disney's doorstep. Surrounded by a conservation area, it encompasses over 300 acres with 11 heavily wooded acres right in the middle of the community. Once inside, you feel as if you have entered a special preserve. Yet it is only 3 miles to Disney World!Guests can utilize all the facilities provided within the resort, which include the clubhouse sauna, fitness centre, games arcade, Internet cafe, Tiki-bar, heated community pools and spas, volleyball and tennis courts, kiddie play areas, and much more.
Our villa has been completely redecorated internally and refurnished to a superior standard that includes:
- 7 bedrooms
- Sleeps a total of 15 people including 2 Master suites
- All bedrooms have flatscreen TV's (4 also have DVD players)
- 4.5 bathrooms including 2 en-suites
- Formal lounge
- Family lounge with LCD TV, cable, DVD player & Wii Console (+ games)
- Library of over 30 DVD's and books and selection of family board games
- Formal dining, seating 8
- Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, seating 8
- Laundry room with separate washer and dryer
- Games room with pool table, table football and air hockey
- Own pool and hot tub, good sized patio area with furniture

The downstairs of our villa is open plan. As you enter through the front door, you will appreciate the light, airy interior, that commences with a formal lounge with two sofas and loveseat.
A formal dining area follows before reaching the kitchen and family area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a range cooker, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer with ice maker, juicer, toaster, coffee maker, blender, kettle and plenty of dinnerware, cuttlery, drinkware, cookware and baking equipment. The kitchen features a breakfast bar with eight stools, perfect for informal, family mealtimes. A highchair is available for babies/young children.
The kitchen leads on to a family area with two sofas and a loveseat. For entertainment, guests have full use of a flatscreen TV with DVD and a Wii games console and selection of Wii games. We also supply over 30 DVD films, including some suitable for children.
A laundry room houses a large washer and separate dryer, iron and ironing board.
A games room contains a pool table, air hockey and table football.
Our home contains 7 bedrooms, sleeping up to 15 guests in the following configuration:
1. Master Suite with King Bed, ensuite bathroom.
2. Second Master Suite with Queen Bed, ensuite bathroom.
3. Queen Bed.
4. Double Bed.
5. Twin Bedroom.
6. Twin Bedroom.
7. Kids' Bunk Room (standrad single on top and double on the bottom).
The villa contains 4½ bathrooms (including 2 ensuites for the Master Bedrooms).
The villa has its own private pool and hot tub (both can be heated on request). We supply plenty of patio furniture. For the safety of our guests the pool has a safety fence which runs the length of the pool area. The entire pool/patio area is screened to keep the insects out.
We aim to make our home a wonderful vacation experience for our guests and therefore we supply plenty of bath towels, separate pool towels and all bedding. A travel cot and high chair are available for families with babies/young children. A welcome pack containing basic provisions such as milk, bread, butter, fruit juice etc. are included in each rental.
The villa is air-conditioned throughout and for your safety and security an intruder alarm is provided. Complimentary wi-fi is also included - bring your laptop!
We have a local management company that is available to respond to any enquiries 24/7 you may encounter during your stay.

Activities
Entrance to the Disney resorts is just 3 miles drive. The Seaworld parks (Seaworld, Discovery Cove and Aquatica) are an easy 20 minute drive. Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Wet 'n' Wild are around 30 minutes drive.
There is much more to Orlando than just theme parks, here are a few alternative suggestions, all within easy reach of our home:
Hot air ballooning, horse riding, visit a spa, experience the thrill of NASCAR racing at Richard Petty Driving Experience, airboat rides, helicopter trips, up close with alligators at Gatorland, visit the opera or ballet, enjoy the thrills of skydiving at Sky Venture, hangliding, become an astronaut at Kennedy Space Centre, interact with dolphins and other animals at Discovery Cove.
1 mile to supermarket and restaurants.
35 mins to Orlando International Airport.

Hot tub heating charged at £20 per day or £75 per week if required. Payments can be made by UK cheque, bank transfer or credit card via Paypal. CANCELLATION CHARGES Up to 56 days prior to arrival: deposit 28-55 days prior to arrival: 50% of rental Within 27 days prior to arrival: 100% of rental
