Vacation Rental Description

The villa consists of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a spacious lounge, a formal dining area plus a breakfast area, a fully equipped large kitchen, a laundry room housed in the double garage, and a wonderful large south facing sun deck with private screened larger than average swimming pool which receives the sun all day long.

The villa is fully air conditioned , and has 3 x free Cable TV , 2 x DVD players with a number of DVD's and CD’s, a PC with high-speed broadband internet access together with a WiFi connection should you choose to bring your own laptop, and games room with table football, air hockey table, electronic dart board, tennis rackets and bicycles. There is also a couple of sets of golf clubs for our guests use.

Our villa is beautifully furnished throughout and we have added many personal touches which we add to on each time we visit

For baby we supply a cot and high chair.

Our friendly local management company have offices very close by.

LOUNGE AND FORMAL DINING ROOM

The lounge and formal dining room have high vaulted ceilings which create a pleasant spacious feeling to the area.

The lounge is furnished with comfortable sofas, digital cable tv with 300+ channels, dvd/cd player and surround-sound system, and has books, dvds, cds and board games suitable for all ages. Patio doors lead out onto the pool and sun deck.

KITCHEN

The modern kitchen features a large range oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer with icemaker, dishwasher, waste disposal. toaster, blender, coffee maker, etc. There is a casual dining area next to the kitchen.

The laundry room is situated in the garage and comprises a large American style Washing Machine and separate Tumble Dryer, Iron and Ironing board.

Electricity and air conditioning are all included in the weekly rate.

MASTER BEDROOM 1

Master bedroom 1 is at the rear of the Villa and has an en-suite with double walk in shower, wash basin with vanity unit and comes complete with hairdryer. This room has just been redecorated with new top quality UK king sized bed and bedding, new lamps, pictures etc. and has a Cable TV, telephone with free local & national calls, clock radio and ceiling fan. There is a large, walk in closet and a PC with internet access together with a WiFi router should you prefer to bring your own laptop.

There are large patio windows giving access to the pool deck.

MASTER BEDROOM 2

Master bedroom 2 is at the front of the villa and has an ensuite bath with shower over, wash basin with lighted vanity unit and comes complete with hairdryer. This room has also been redecorated with a UK king sized bed, new bedding, lamps etc, and features cable TV, clock radio, and large walk in wardrobe.

The third bedroom has one double and one single bed, lamps, clock radio and large walk in wardrobe.

The fourth bedroom has two single beds, lamps, clock radio and large walk in wardrobe.

These 2 bedrooms share the third bathroom consisting of bath with shower over, lighted vanity unit, hairdryer, and large cupboard which stores spare towels, sheets, etc.

All towels and a change of bed Linen are provided.

The south facing pool and sundeck is furnished with sun loungers and is enclosed within a fine-screen which keeps out the bugs whilst letting in the sun. There is a covered seating area with dining table and chairs, light and fan, for alfresco meals around the pool.

Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club is ideally situated on the US 27, 7 miles from Junction 55 of the I-4, the gateway to all the attractions that the Orlando area has to offer, only 35 mins from Orlando International Airport, 1 hour from Sanford Airport, and approximately 1 hour from the East and West coast beaches. It is the only community to have large supermarkets, garages, shops, video stores, restaurants etc all within walking distance.

Florida Vacation 'Experts' (but still learning)!!!!!!

We have been travelling to Florida as a family for almost 20 years, originally staying in hotels (some good, some not so good, but all squeezed into 1 room!) and decided to buy our own piece of paradise in 2003. Since then we have had mainly 'working holidays' - but we still love it.

We considered very carefully before choosing Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club as our holiday base. It had to fulfil certain criteria such as (1) being in beautiful surroundings, (2) have shops, restaurants, banks etc within walking distance, and (3) have that all important south facing pool and sun deck for year round sunshine. All these we found at Southern Dunes!!

There are several restaurants within walking and easy driving distance starting with the onsite Clubhouse, Bar and Restuarant serving breakfast and lunches everyday to 5:00p.m and dinner on selected evening weekly. Then there is the famous Manny's Chophouse - what a place. It is extremely popular with the locals and has a real buzz about it. The food is very good and the endless salad bowl with signature dressing unbelievably good!!!!

There are the usual array of take-aways just outside the gates, together with a number of pizza and chinese takeaways that deliver great food in large portions and at good prices.

Walmart & Winn Dixie superstores are also within walking distance, sell everything you could possible need for your stay, and also have a range of hot, take-away foods. These are ideal when you arrive back from the theme parks, tired but hungry, pick-up a ready cooked meal and eat it out on the pool deck with a bottle of bud or a G & T - Perfect!!!
