The roomy master bedroom has a king bed and large walk-in closet. The living room has a queen leather sectional sleeper sofa and 42” plasma TV with Bose Sound System for CD/DVD/radio. The unit sleeps 4 and has travertine tile floors throughout, a dining area accommodating 4 people comfortably, and fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops.
The complex offers 2 Olympic sized pools (one heated), 2 kiddie pools, a large clubhouse for activities, 4 lighted shuffleboard courts, 2 laundry facilities on each floor, 2 elevators per building, assigned parking spaces and shopping and dining within walking distance. There is a large oceanfront deck for watching the sunrise or sunbathing. No need to be concerned about any cars driving on the no-drive beach out front.
New Smyrna Beach is a family oriented, laid back old Florida beach town. It offers plenty of casual dining with great seafood restaurants. Old Flagler Avenue has returned to life with shops, ice cream treats, surf shops, and restaurants. The northern beaches allow for you to drive and park on the beach.
Cape Canaveral National Seashore Park, 7 miles south, offers historical Indian mounds, world renowned flats fishing for Snook, trout, and red fish in Mosquito Lagoon, and access to secluded beaches. Kayaks, fishing guides, and boat rentals are readily available. Forty minutes to the west is the famous Blue Springs State Park where you can view manatees seasonally and take a riverboat cruise along the scenic St. John’s River.
Smyrna Dunes Park, 5 miles north, offers a 1 ½ mile walking and jogging boardwalk through the natural dunes between the intra-coastal waterway/Ponce Inlet and the ocean. Surfing at New Smyrna Inlet is some of the best and most consistent on the east coast. The Park is an excellent spot for bird watching, is dog friendly and provides for a breathtaking view of the historical Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. A scenic 30 minute water taxi ride provides access to the lighthouse and lighthouse museum from various points in New Smyrna. Offshore fishing charters are readily available.
Kennedy Space Center, 30 miles south, is America's busiest launch and landing facility. The Center offers a full day of exploration including real space vehicles, authentic attractions, inspiring exhibits and hands-on experiences.
For 12 months of the year, the golfing enthusiast will find numerous affordable and challenging courses within short driving distance. In addition, the LPGA Headquarters and golf course is located, 20 miles north, in Daytona Beach.
A one hour drive away provides access to Orlando’s Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World and many other tourist offerings.
