Vacation Rental Description
Just a 5 minutes drive to Disney. The best of Florida villa rental – the real Formosa Gardens. Disney villa rental Orlando. On a quiet location with two small lakes, a short drive to Disney with International restaurants and shops within walking distance. Fishing is allowed on the main lake and plenty of fishing close by all on a catch and release basis. (A permit is needed to fish anywhere in Florida, only a few Dollars at Wal-Mart). 
 
All the homes on this small gated community are large executive homes built on large lots (the smallest is 1/3rd of an acre) and so you are not overlooked or crowded out at our villa. As we are gated, there is no through traffic. 
 
The home is well maintained every year and is our family winter home and so is fully equipped.

    • Twenty minutes drive from about 30 great golf courses  
    Disney, Universal and Sea World are all a short drive.  
    A 65 minute drive will take you to the Beaches and Cape Kennedy/Canaveral where you might see a shuttle or rocket launch. Or just step outside and if the weather is right, watch the launch from the villa.  
    International restaurants withing walking distance (or very short drive).

    Formosa Gardens is unique in the rental market in that it is a gated community with high end custom built homes. This means good quality homes and lots of space inside and outside, not the usual jammed togther rental properties. You can walk to the local shops where you will also find a wide range of well known and some international restaurants.

    We are on the edge of the Disney theme parks and yet the community is set in a tranquil environment. We have two lakes where you can fish on a catch-and-release basis. Some of the larger lakes for fishing are very close by.

    Disney is a short 5-10 minute drive from the community and there are 30 golf courses within a 5-20 minute drive. All the major theme parks are a 5-25 minutes drive away. Orlando International is a 20 minute drive and Sanford airport is a bit further away at about 50 minutes.

    The main highway is the 192 and this can get busy at peak times. From our community there are many ways to avoid the jams, especially if heading away from the Disney area.

A security deposit of $350 (£200) per booking is required with the final balance payment. The security deposit will be returned to you within 30 days of departure from the villa providing that no damage or loss has occurred. In the event of cancellation or part cancellation, the following charges will be applied: Prior to arrival date 43 days or more Loss of deposit 42 or less 100% of total cost Payment can be made by cheque, PayPal or by direct bank transfer

    Christmas in the sitting room Our winter retreat

    We wanted a home for the winter with plenty of space, inside and outside, in a small community, quiet, and yet close to the major attractions. It took us several years to satisfied with our tick list and by chance we found Formosa Gardens Estate. It ticked all the boxes and was all new and now has some of the highest quality homes in central Florida and can be used for short-term rental. All very unique.

    It is a lovely community, close to the parks and lots of golf courses and we lots of friends who now make the estate their main residence.

    Like us, I'm sure you will love our villa and its unique combination of quality and location.
