So NEW the paint's hardly dry. Clean, clean, clean!! This one is bright tropical colors with a seaside theme. There's even a life sized sail on the 18' vaulted wall! New carpet, bath fixtures & vanity, fresh bedding, linens, fluffy towels, 3 LCD TV's & DVD players. The upstairs bedroom is super fun with a loft window overlooking the living room and views of the lake and has a balcony too. Just word of mouth has already generated June reservations. Pet friendly too - if your pet is small (under 25 lbs).
Here's the layout - downstairs has a Master Bedroom with a queen bed, Bath, Kitchen with granite counter, up to the minute tile backsplash, microwave, stove and fridge, breakfast area and living room with sleeper sofa. Walk out patio to enjoy morning lake breezes or watch fireworks at night. Upstairs is a giant bedroom with 2 queen beds, balcony, full bath upstairs and a walk in closet.
There's a huge Mickey Mouse shaped pool, with big children shallow area and hot tub overlooking the lake - perfection! Giant tennis courts with night lighting. The on site restaurant that even the locals love has a lounge/bar, PIZZA HUT section, and delicious menu - best in town for BBQ ribs.
We were part of Westgate Lakes Resort next door, now our own community, but they are friendly and you are welcome to visit their lobby. A shuttle bus runs from the restaurant to their lobby during restaurant open hours. You'll find a massive brochure counter, a Disney planning desk, deli, market, art gallery, dinner show, spa (fee for services), and gym open to the public ($5/day) over there. We don't use their pools, but you'll prefer our big, quieter one by the lake.
You won't find a better location, a newer interior or friendlier owner to rent from this close to where you want to be. I have guests who return every year. I really enjoy welcoming new visitors to Orlando and would like to make your vacation as carefree as possible. Hair dryers included, beach towels, upgraded bath soaps, colorful fresh fabrics. That's what I want when I go somewhere and want value for my hard earned money.
It's not a hotel though, so no daily maid service. You are welcome to request the cleaning person to clean for you especially if you want to stay a month or so. Her number is in the welcome manual. There are cleaning supplies for you provided if you want to do it yourself. There's an on site laundry with fast and clean washers/dryers. Do a weeks worth of laundry in less than 2 hrs. Sit under the gazebo in a lounge chair at the sandy beach by the lake while doing the laundry! Good green areas and paths to take your pet for a walk. As far as the animal factor - high allergen air filters are changed after any pet has stayed and we do an allergen clean - so you won't find any odor or pet hair, Furniture is covered when pets stay - all in all, clean, clean, clean!!!
I live right here in Orlando a few minutes away. You won't have to drive to a dark place to pick up keys. There's a lockbox system so when you arrive immediately start relaxing. See calendar - June is already full but the rest of summer has great dates still open!
