Sea Colony has many amenities including two indoor pools, and 10 outdoor pools, swim lessons, kid's camps and pick-up games, creative and theatrical camps, water programs, aerobics classes,children's and teen evening programs, chair and umbrella rental and set-up, tennis classes and clinics, party bridge, and a teen bonfire on Tuesdays in season. Sea Colony has 34 tennis courts (12 Har-Tru clay and 4 indoor). Tennis magazine rated Sea Colony among "50 Best U.S. Tennis resorts' including No. 3 for Families, No. 3 for game matching, and No. 1 for Bargains.
In season the Sea Colony tram system transports guests to the beach and through-out the Sea Colony community.

The Sea Colony Recreational Association charges a fee per person per week for a guest badge. The badge entitles the guest to access to all recreational facilities including the private beach, the pools (indoor and outdoor), the fitness center, sauna, jacuzzi, activities, and the tram system. The 2008 fees are:
July 12 thru August 28 - $35.00
August 29 thru September 11, 2008 - $15
September 12 thru December 31, 2008 - $10
