This place is GREAT. It's everything I thought it would be!!!!!! But then Victoria and John through in a little surprise. You guys KNOW how to do hospitality!!!!!! I'd like to book next year now!

Nov 18-20, Had a excellent time. The lake cottage was the PERFECT weekend getaway. We relaxed, cooked and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
The picturesque views and serenity were so inspiring that we wrote a song.

Thank you so much. Our stay was great, but too short. Our son came up with his family and had a great day fishing and swimming. The cottage is great, clean, cozy and enjoyable. Victoria and John, We had a wonderful week!! The cottage was both inviting and accommodating! I especially enjoyed the lounge by the window where I managed to do a lot of reading. Tony and I both fished. (I caught my first fish ever!)

Arrived on a beautiful sunny day! So relaxing sitting in front of the lake, had a fire in the fire pit and roasted marshmallows, what a treat!
The views of the lake from inside the cottage are amazing!
It was fun to watch the water skiing and to relax in our sand chairs on the private sandy beach. We had a wonderful time, thank you for sharing your cottage with us. Martha (Wilmington, DE) June 18 - 25

The perfect little get a way!
The Oxoboxo Lake Cottage is a lovely little hidden gem. Literally lake-front, it is only steps to a private dock with paddle boat. My family did some of the best fishing we have ever done. The lake offers lots of fish to catch; perch, lake trout, bass, pickerel, crappie, and endless sunfish, many of which we caught numerous times. Victoria, the Cottage host, is professional, considerate, and accommodating. My family and I have stayed in many vacation homes over the years and I find Victoria to be one of the nicest and fair people I have ever dealt with. The cottage itself is clean, quaint and nicely decorated with an amazing view of the lake. The outdoor seating area is perfect for picnicking, entertaining small parties and hosting a cozy fire by the water. If I had to choose one issue to help a prospective renter to consider this lovely cottage, it would be that the homes in this area are very close to one another and the cottage lacked privacy for my taste. But, in all fairness, I am a very private person and my privacy is important to me. If you are an outgoing person and enjoy close-knit quarters and neighbors, this is by all means, a perfect little get a way vacation home and I highly recommend it to all.

May 18, 2011 Thank you for the wonderful get away from busy Boston to allow me to make amazing progress on my dissertation. The view of the lake was inspirational & the overall setting provided the clarity of mind needed to accomplish all that I have this week. Had frequent visits from a pair of Canadian Geese ( I think) and their 4 fluffy chicks. The steam on the lake the first morning was a novel sight & was the promise of the most beautiful day full of sun. Thanks a bunch!! Sara S.
