Vacation Rental Description

Elegantly furnished waterfront chalet. Oriental rugs; four poster and French iron beds; velvet chaises and down quilts. Fireplace; interior balconies. We have a 36 ' TV with hundreds of videos plus dozens of CD's. WiFi Totally equipped kitchen with microwave, cookbooks and even a pasta maker. Private deck with new furniture. There is a large sofa, twin mattress in the closet and a recliner which provide extra sleeping possibilities for children. Beautiful sunsets. This is a wonderful year round retreat. Home is right in the middle of the foliage tour/antique area.

Another cottage on the property may be available- sleeps 2 or more. High ceilings, water views etc. -ask owner for specials. Great for family reunions when both are rented-Large sports area nearby

Views down the full length of the lake from beds, fireplace and numerous books and videos make 'nesting' a wonderful time as well.

Highland Lakefront Tudor..

I have many homes and have traveled extensively worldwide...even used to lead trips.
This wonderful hideaway was 45 minutes from home and has become my "Reach Beyond". It has all the luxury of a topnotch resort but with the personal touch of a beautifully designed home.
We all love to enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets after busy days...or just as part of a restful vacation in the Litchfield Hills. It is close to the outlets in Lee, the beautiful Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, Kent, Cornwall or the sport center right in town. Many love tubing on the Farmington River...but with two pedal boats included in the property rental..many choose that. For rainy days..there is cable, wifi, and hundreds of movies and books and magazines. You can stay in the house and still have a wonderful vacation. It has been fun sharing my home-not only with Americans but people from Amsterdam,Sweden, Iceland, Peru, and Hong Kong. We have new friends from all over the world.
The home is also half way between New York and Boston and all the Berrkshires gave to offer. Come share my home- new friends are always welcome.
