Vacation Rental Description
Centrally Located Not far from the condo is Durango's Recreational Center with exceptional workout equipment and several indoor and lap pools for children and adults. The Rec Center also has several indoor water slides. In addition, you can can ski Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort, raft or kayak the Animas River, or take a sleigh ride through the countryside. Of course, the Durango terminal of the Durango-Silverton Railraod is located just a few blocks away. There is never a lack of things to do in Durango! Designed with you in mind! This roomy kitchen has lots of counter space for cooking and quick dining. It has a wine rack and is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, pans and all appliances for dining or entertaining. A full-sized washer and dryer are located near the kitchen and are provided for your convenience. The dining and living room areas are tastefully decorated complete with a dining table and chairs to seat six. This is combined with additional seating at the breakfast bar. The gas fireplace is located between the dining and living areas giving the rooms a warm and cozy feel. The entertainment center includes a large screen TV, DVD player, cable/DSL, and high-speed wireless. The living and dining areas open onto a beautiful deck with BBQ and patio seating for six which overlooks historic 3rd Avenue. This safe, secure and quiet second story condo offers private, gated underground parking with elevator access to the front door.
A good night's rest The two bedrooms are furnished with high-quality mattresses designed for a good night's sleep. The master bedroom and bath features a king-sized sleigh bed and flat screen TV. Done in the Arts and Crafts style with plenty of dresser and closet space. Tucked in one corner is a rocker and lamp for late night readings and/or feedings. The Guest bedroom with a queen-sized bed is decorated in Arts and Craft style as well. A second bathroom is located just a few steps away. Additional sleeping accommodations are located in the comfortable queen-sized sleeper sofa in the Living Room. The bench in the entry holds additional linens.
Facilities
New condo overlooking historic Third Avenue. Just steps to Main Avenue in Downtown Durango and the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. No details have been overlooked in decorating this unit. This property will provide you with every comfort for the perfect vacation. The kitchen is open to the living and dining rooms and features a breakfast bar and formal dining area. The kitchen is fully stocked with all dishes, appliances, coffee pot etc. A laundry room in the hallway offers a stackable washer & dryer. The living room is furnished with a comfortable couch (also a sleeper sofa), leather overstuffed chairs and an entertainment center with flat screen TV, high speed inter-net and cable TV. Patio doors provide access to a deck with gas grill and furniture. The unit is air conditioned and also offers a gas fireplace. The master bedroom is very roomy and has a King size bed, flat screen TV and a private bath with glass shower. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed and full bath.
Activities
Durango not only has great shopping and the scenic ride to Silverton on an authentic coal-fired locomotive-power train, but is at the gateway to the San Juan Mountains which are wild, beautiful and accessible.

A deposit is required by submitting a credit card. Master card and VISA are accepted. Cancellation prior to 30 days of stay will result in full refund. Cancelation after that time will result in a $200 charge to the credit card. A 3-night stay is the minimum at $200/night plus a $150 cleaning fee. All rental fees are subject to a 9.9% lodging tax for stays under one month. Holiday rates are $1,700/week and the nightly rate with a 3 night minimum is $225/night plus the $150 cleaning fee. The weekly rental rate includes the cleaning fee.
