Gary and David are from opposite coasts of our country (Pennsylvania and Oregon). We have found Colorado a place to call home for over 10 years now, after having moved here from Dallas, Texas where we both worked for American Airlines. We are now real estate investors specializing in rentals, rehabbing, and buying and selling (David is a realtor). We love the outdoor lifestyle, skiing, hiking, and camping and enjoy all of the 300+ days of sunshine each year that Colorado affords us. We can't think of anywhere else we'd rather be!
When we bought this fantastic property in 2007, we were looking for a place to getaway from the hectic pace of our lives in town, yet close enough that it would be an easy drive to Denver (less than 2 hours). We had often entertained owning a mountain getaway, but didn't want to be along the busy I-70 corridor and traffic. We chose this location in Jefferson because of the easy drive up 285, and relative closeness to lots of outdoor activities: mountain hiking, fishing, river rafting, wildlife viewing, downhill skiing, snow boarding, and cross country skiing. What we got was far beyond our wildest dreams with unending mountain views and people who go out of their way to help you bringing back memories of the good old frontier days. We'd be happy to share this experience with you. Just let us know what we can do to help you plan your memorable vacation to Colorado with us!
