Vacation Rental Description
The "Treehouse" is a newly constructed 3,400+ square foot lodge nestled in the woods, only five miles from Winter Park/Mary Jane ski area. There are four bedrooms, a master with king, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, and a bunk room that will sleep five people comfortably. There are three and a half bathrooms. The kitchen has all the necessities. A 6-person spa is conveniently situated on the back deck, offering privacy and relaxation. 
 
There is room for 12 to sit and eat in the dining room. The living room has a TV and a wood-burning stove. Access to the ski area is quick and easy. The town of Winter Park has numerous restaurants and shops. The quaint town of Fraser is only one mile away and has a Safeway supermarket, a few restaurants, and shops.  
 
There are many unique mountain-themed features in the Treehouse. Natural slate and character hickory make up the rustic flooring, slate and marble tile murals highlight the woodstove and the master shower. The loft features a one-of-a-kind steel and log railing of pine tree silhouettes. The multiple windows in the Treehouse allow views of the Continental Divide, Byers Peak and a peaceful meadow where moose and deer have been spotted.  
 
There is ample room for two families to spend a fun-filled vacation together, with room enough to "get away" from the crowd. After a superb day of skiing come back and enjoy nearby sledding, quiet by the fire or puzzles, board games, cards or movies (adult and Disney).

    • All floors are heated by in-floor radiant heat. Plenty of wood and kindling available for wood stove. DVD and VCR on main floor TV and VCR/TV upstairs in loft. There is a ping pong table and dart board in the rec room downstairs. Fully stocked kitchen with toaster, coffee maker, instant hot water, blender, crock pot, griddle and large pantry. Driveway is plowed when more than 4 inches of snow falls (AWD or 4WD recommended).

    • Tubing hill is 2 miles away. Devils Thumb resort about 4 miles away with ice skating, nordic skiing and beautiful lodge. Trails nearby for snowshoeing or cross country skiing (old Idlewild ski area). Ice skating is also available at Winter Park Village.
