It is surrounded by both state and national parks, as well as rivers, and of course, hot springs. I have lived in Colorado for over 14 years, including Vail, Aspen, Boulder and Denver and it is by far my favorite! Unless obscene crowds and gaudy malls are your thing, Steamboat has something to offer
