The master bedroom also has a lovely corner view of the lake and surrounding mountainside. 
 
Grand Lake and Village are shoehorned between Rocky Mountain National Park on the North and Arapahoe National forest to the South and West. Visitors to the area are literally surrounded by preserved wilderness all accessible by well-maintained trails.  
 
In Grand Lake, you will experience time slowing down and the ability to reconnect with nature and see Colorado's abundant wildlife. While there is plenty to keep busy without even driving anywhere, Grand Lake is the perfect homebase for several great excursions: a 45 minute drive through the Rocky Mountain National Park puts visitors in beautiful Estes Park; an hour on I-35 puts visitors in Georgetown, an immaculately preserved Victorian silver mining town with an operational period locomotive. Whether you enjoy nature, water sports, shopping, fishing, western history or just reading by the fire, you are sure to have the time of your life.
