The lodge is on top of Lookout Mountain on 35 acres adjacent to 27 square miles of the Rocky Mountains. We have access trails into the Glenwood Canyon Trail System with some of the best hiking, mountain biking and snowshoeing in the country. Click here for pictures of Glenwood Canyon
A short drive to Glenwood springs or Aspen ...You can keep very busy staying in your private mountain vacation home. Or Drive 15 Miles to Glenwood Springs attractions and dining. The lodge is one hour or less from the world class Aspen ski areas ,18 mi. from Sunlight ski resort and a day trip to Moab Utah!
IMPORTANT...road conditions in the mountains WILL vary! the lasst road (CR120 Lookout mountain road) is a gravel twisty,sometimes dusty, sometimes muddy road! Any 2 wheel drive car,van, or truck will be fine from April to September! You will have a dirty car when you leave the lodge.
Because of the high alpine environment 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive is required much of the time from October -March. The road is plowed but during storms can get 6-12" of snow accumulated before plows come by.
