Vacation Rental Description
This is a rustic, restful cabin nestled deeply in Colorado's Roosevelt National Forest. Built in 2009, this three-bedroom cabin will sleep 8 easily, and can handle up to 14. The cabin includes an upstairs loft, a "bunk room," woodstove, firepit, large deck, a fully-furnished kitchen, and breathtaking views of the surrounding forest. Quiet and private, it's a great place to sit back, relax, and forget your troubles for a while. Or you can put a movie in the DVD player and watch on the flat screen TV. If you must stay in contact with civilization, the area has cellular access, and the cabin has high-speed wireless Internet.
There are several lakes in the area, most suitable for fishing and boating. If you have ATVs, there are 86 miles of county-maintained roads that permit their use nearby. The base camp includes a restaurant with AMAZING desserts, and Beaver Meadows Resort, with lots of additional amenities--including fishing, horse riding, and tubing (in the winter), is 10 minutes from the front door.
