Golden boasts ten museums, numerous restaurants, and even an alpine slide and water park. If the snow is falling a short drive up the mountain will put you in the best ski country in the West. If you're feeling lucky, gambling in historic Central City is only minutes away.  
 
Need a big city fix? Downtown Denver is fifteen minutes away, and offers everything you could ever need.
