This 1920's bungalow style home radiates warmth and style. While everything has been remodeled and updated for convenience it retains the charm of an earlier day. The privacy fence and lovely summer garden make the backyard an ideal setting for an evening BBQ. The gas grill is all ready for you.
Situated in one of Denver's older central, quiet, residential neighborhoods the location is ideal for tourist and business traveler alike. Within 1/2 mile to 5 miles you will find The Zoo, The Museum of Nature and Science, City Park, The Art Museum, The historic Molly Brown House, The Capitol, The Mint, The Convention Center, The Performing Arts Complex and many small theater venues, Downtown, boutique shopping, grocery stores, Coors Field, The Pepsi Center, and Invesco Field and much, much more.
The Botanic Gardens is an easy 4 block walk. The bus into downtown is right around the corner if you are not wanting the hassle of parking. And speaking of "around the corner", you may want to join the locals at the one of the neighborhood cafes. Good food, reasonable prices.
The house has easy to access from the airport and once you've arrived both of the major freeways (N/S and E/W) are within 5 miles so it is easy to venture a little farther away, such as, Rocky Mountain National Park or Boulder, The Air Force Academy near Colorado Springs or if you are a winter visitor and would like to ski-- Vail is about 1-1/2 hours away by car.
Upon returning to the home after a busy day of sightseeing, you can relax with a book or one of the many movies provided. Perhaps play a family game or listen to music or just check emails on the computer (secured internet access is provided for those bringing their own laptops).
You probably have your vacation "to do list" already planned but, just incase you are needing ideas there are tourist books, info and maps at the house. Also, I live in the neighborhood and am happy to offer assistance.
