Within strolling distance are Haight Ashbury, which was the epicenter of the hippie culture and retains a certain charisma to this day, Japantown with its delicious restaurants, Castro district with its uniqueness and Golden Gate Park with famous museums and greenery. Highly regarded restaurants, such as Nopa, are a stone's throw away. There are also many great coffee shops and nightlife.
