Nestled on the hill above the town, this secluded and private 1 bedroom apartment is the true essence of Mill Valley. Our guest apartment is situated in a lush quiet setting looking out over town through wooded treetops. While inside you will enjoy the greenery that surrounds you and the warm welcoming light that cascades in from the large windows & doors. Its central location to shopping, great restaurants, Mt Tam, beaches and the Wine Country, allow the convenience of all that the Northern Bay Area has to offer. Your retreat is thoughtfully appointed, allowing you to enjoy all the comforts of home. Enjoy an open floor plan of a large living room with dining area off a well equipped kitchen equipped with all you might need to create your gourmet meal. Full bath with shower. (With a separate plumbed outdoor claw foot tub on the deck). There is one big bedroom with a queen size bed and a separate day bed. With two decks off the living area there is plenty of out door space to enjoy entertaining, relaxing with a good book or watching the deer graze in the yard. Our convenient location, open and well appointed environment along with its affordable price makes for a great value here in beautiful Mill Valley.

The apartment has a large deck furnished for outdoor eating with lovely views of the yard. There are family's of deer that make this yard their home and every sping expect to see a fawn or two or three. There is also an outdoor bathtub with hot & cold water so our guest can bathe under the stars. No need to drive down town-unless you prefer to-for just down the street there are sets of stairs thet drop you right into down town. Remember you have to hike back up-but it's a very short flight of stairs.

This is a BIG mountian bike area-also one of the BEST places to windsurf in the world right here in the Bay. Lake Tahoe has lot of great ski resorts and it is about 3-4 hours from here. San Francisco is 10 minutes away.

Nearest Airport : San Francisco Airport at 25 kilometers distance;
Nearest Train Station : Oakland, S.F. at 25 kilometers distance
Nearest Town : Mill Valley, S.F. Sausalito,Larkspur at 3 kilometers distance
Travel Info: Convenient to public transportation but it is really best to rent a car. Mill Valley is made of very small streets that wind around the foothills of Mt Tam. If you do rent a car, rent a small economy size so the streets will be easier to navigate. Parking in front of property is public so is not guaranteed but there is usually plenty of room and more parking up the street as well. This was originally a walking town so there are many public staircases that make walking almost as fast as driving (providing you are in shape!)
