This property is located on a hill above UC Berkeley and Memorial Stadium. It is close to Bart for travel to San Francisco and within walking distance of UC Berkeley. The Living room / Dining room has oak hardwood floors, a fireplace, and video w/ full surround speakers with cable. There is a large Deck with outdoor seating and San Francisco view off of the living room and second bedroom.


The Master bedroom has a queen size bed. The Second bedroom / office has a double bed. The bedrooms are fully furnished, complete with linens.

The bathroom has a custom vessel sink, Dorn Bracht fixtures, a Grohe shower fixture, and limestone tile throughout.

Elegant kitchen with ceramic tile floor, butcher block counters, recessed lighting. Stocked with cooking tools, cutlery and dishes to feed up to six people.

    • Many guests stay with their young families and are looking for daytime activities to do with the kids. Tilden park is a very large east bay regional park in the hills directly behind Berkeley that has numerous activities for kids and adults alike. The Steam Train is a working replica of a steam train that parents and kids can take for a guided ride through the tilden park grounds. Another great park attraction is the Carousel. This is a vintage merry go-round right in the middle of the park The Panoramic way properties are just down the hill from the Lawrence hall of Science and the UC Berkeley Botanical Garden. Another option also very close is the Strawberry Canyon Swimming Pool. Here there is a wading pool, fitness center, and picnic area. Night time entertainment The Berkeley Rep is a local theater that stages many high quality productions. It is located downtown close to many restaurants, cafes, pubs and bookshops.

    Berkeley is home to the Tilden Park golf course just over the hill from Panoramic way. There is tennis close to the Bonita cottage at the Rose garden as well as at Live Oak Park. For boating, kayaking, windsurfing and to see the sights next to the bay look at this map of the berkeley marina.

    Gourmet Ghetto
    One of the properties is within a short walk of the fine restaurants, and shopping of the Gourmet Ghetto. The gourmet Ghetto formed around the restaurant Chez Panisse in the early 1970's and continues to grow.
