The writeup on the web says that it is spectacular and it really is SPECTACULAR! We arrived there and immediately went to the windows - the Hotel del Coronado was right there. The view from this corner condo is really something partly because of the 270 degree view and partly because it is perfectly located. In addition to the Hotel del, you can see downtown San Diego, the Coronado Bridge, San Diego bay and Glorietta bay, the Navy Seals training facility, the Pacific Ocean and more. You can see the sunset over the Pacific Ocean and Point Loma - in the morning, you can see the sun rising over the mountains.
The condo itself is really wonderful. It has a huge living/dining room (with two walls of floor to ceiling windows) plus an open kitchen. In addition to the two bedrooms each with a floor to ceiling wall of windows, there are also two sets of bunkbeds - one set has TVs for both bunks. Granite countertops are in the kitchen, hall and guest bathroom. The Master bathroom is done in marble throughout.
The City of Coronado is emminently walkable. We walked on and by the beach almost every day, and most days walked 5-10 minutes to dinner in Coronado. We found 5 restaurants that we really liked - we ate out a lot. The doorpeople (24/7 service) at the condo are friendly and helpful.
Don't try to rent this condo for February. We plan to rent it for many years to come.
