Vacation Rental Description
This condo has it all and is an artists delight with all original artwork. The condo also has some of the most beautiful sunsets overlooking one of the most beautiful coastlines in Southern California. The condo was completely remodeled last year. It has lots of travertine, wood, granite and a stone fireplace with all new furniture and appliances. It has a huge patio with a view to die for that overlooks the ocean. Why not spend your days and evenings watching the dolphins play in the surf or watching the sun set behind Catalina Island? The path to the beach is adjacent to the property only a few feet away and restaurants and shops are a mere 5-10 minute walk. Starbucks and Coffee Bea are a 5 minute walk. The condo has two bedrooms, one master suite with full bath and a second bedroom and full guest bath. The kitchen is open to the dining area which opens to the living room with fireplace. The large patio has a large table and six chairs to watch sunsets or enjoy morning coffee. A barbeque grill is available for those who want to grill.
Facilities
The is located on the ground floor, with a second entry from the garage. The main entrance is down a path with no steps alongside the condo which ends at the patio. This makes it very accessible for those who do not want to climb stairs but still want to enjoy one of the most magnificient oceanfront views in California. The condo is our second home and is in perfect condition and has been beautifully decorated and totally renovated in 2009. Original art is found throughout the condo. The area is very safe and entry to the patio is through a locked gate. The condo has a very large patio (found only on the ground floor condos) which overlooks the beach below. This is a great place to enjoy a morning coffee or sip a glass of wine and watch people walking on the beach, surfers or sunsets or if you are lucky, dolphins play in the surf below. If you feel like going out for a cup of coffee you can walk to Starbucks in 5 minutes and also find great restaurants and cafes nearby.
Activities
The condo is located on the bluff at the Headlands Reserve. It is the first condo seen as you drive into the Headlands and sits directly in front on top of the bluff with a spectacular view of the California Coastline- truly a remarkable site. There are no buildings below to block the view. The path to the beach ( a 5 minute walk) is adjacent (East) to the condo. Strands Beach is a well known surfers beach and is a safe and great swimming beach. The Headlands (wildlife) reserve has 3 miles of hiking trails. Dana Point Harbor is known for the hundreds of boats harbored there and is a great place for walks, evening meals, coffee or ice cream. The Ritz Carlton and St. Regis are a two miute car ride. The harbor is a 20 minute walk (five minutes by car). Disneyland is 45 minutes away and John Wayne airport is less than 30 minutes. Dana Point is midway between LA (Hollywood) and San Diego (an hour) (Seaworld and Legoland) as well many other great activities.

This location is the best on the Headlands Bluff- overlooking Monarch Beach. You can have coffee on your patio as you watch the dolphins play in the surf below or go down the path adjacent to the property for a walk on the beach in the sand- or go to Starbucks for a cup of coffee only a few minutes walk away. The condo is located close to lots of cafes and restaurants ....alll you need for the best beach holiday ever! The condo is midway between Los Angeles and San Diego. It is 10 minutes South of Laguna Beach which is renowned for its many aritist's galleries. It is about 30 minutes to Disneyland and located minutes from Orange County John Wayne International Airport. Travel Options
- Travel Info: The best airport to reach Dana Point is SNA or John Wayne Orange County Airport. We are 25 minutes away. LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) is about an hour as is San Diego Airport.

Beautiful condo, beautiful views, beautiful beach...made for a perfect vacation! The condo is clean and comfortable and nicely furnished/decorated. The beach is a quick walk, and the views are just breathtaking! I could have sat on the patio forever! Also, the owner was readily available to answer our questions. I highly recommend this vacation spot!

2 bedroom/ 2 bath 5 Star Oceanfront Condo in Headlands, Dana Point
This condo has one of the most magnificient views you have ever seen. THe Ritz Carlton is just blocks away with the same view. The condo sits on top of the hill with nothing but sand below and is directly adjacent to the path down to the Headlands beach. The unit has just been completely remodeled with travertine, granite and stone fireplace and has everything you can think of or need- except your toothbrush. The condo has two bedrooms and two full baths and can sleep six. Their is an extra doublesize bed with lots of pillows in the living room which is a great place to curl up and just watch the sunsets and enjoy the gas fireplace or TV. There is a kingsize bed in the master bedroom and a queen in the second bedroom. The unit is furnished beautifully by an interior decorator in neutral colors in a very relaxing Tommy Bahama feel -just perfect for a beach getaway. You will have a vacation you will never forget - with flowers waiting for you!
