    • Nestled in a redwood forest along the bank of the Smith River, this vacation cabin is perfect for reteats,serious fishing, family reunions, weddings, honeymoons, canoeing, swimming, a home base to explore the redwoods, or just a quiet and very private place to rest, relax and enjoy nature. The cabin is minutes away from awesome trails through the redwoods, spectacular beaches, and a wild and scenic river that may be one of the most beautiful rivers of the world. This cabin was built in the 1930's as a fishing cabin and has been upgraded to be cozy and comfortable without losing any of its wonderful character. The nearest house is over 200 feet away and impossible to see through the trees. The cabin itself is really two cabins--a main cabin with two bedrooms, kitchen, living/dining room, laundry and a great front porch overlooking the river--and a smaller cabin with a queen bed, bunk beds, a small loft and bathroom.

    • The cabin is right on the river. We have two canoes that are perfect for summer time. And since the cabin is in the middle of a forest and on the bank of a wild and scenic river, nature lovers will enjoy this spot since you are surrounded with nature just about the way God made it.
