Our home is the largest vacation rental in Gasquet. New on the market as a vacation rental this home is located in the beautiful " Redwood Forest Country".

This home is 1700 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Open and spacious with laminate flooring. A large deck has teak deck furniture for your river watching pleasure. Two picnic tables and fire pit sit on the edge of the river bank. 
 
Curl up with a novel, many are provided for your reading pleasure. A large beautiful puzzle is provided, a perfect activity for one or more people to enjoy in the home. 
 
Attention Fishers: Book now so you don't miss a great area to fish and a large home to relax in after your day on the river. Vacation Rentals during the fishing season book up fast.  
 
The home sits on 3.33 acres of secluded riverfront property. There is a year round spring that flows to the river. A private path, out the front yard, leads right to the river bed. This river has some of the best Salmon and Steelhead Fishing. 
 
The master bedroom has "Premium" 600 Thread Count Linens. 
The second bedroom has two " Pillow Top " twin beds. 
The third bedroom is a " Pillow Top" bed with "Premium" 600 Thread Count Linens. 
Thick Egyptian Cotton Towels are provided in each bathroom.

We are surrounded by the Smith River National Recreation Area. We are one minute from the town of Gasquet and appx 15 minutes to the beach. This is a drive you don't WANT TO MISS! You will experience awe and amazement driving to the beach and Crescent City.  
 
The Smith River flows right next to the road and you will drive under " Mammoth proportioned" redwood trees. Everytime we drive to the River House and back to Crescent City, tourists are pulled over on the side of the road. They have their camera's out and take pictures of each other standing underneath these HUGE trees. I know they are thankful they got to experience our area. We hear that from tourists all the time. 
 
We have a large parking area next to the house that can fully accommodate trailers, fishing boats or 4 wheelers. There are hundreds of acres across the road from our home that you can ride quads.  
 
The Smith River National Recreation Area: 
 
The Smith River is one of the crown jewels of the National Wild and Scenic River System, which recognizes and protects rivers across the country. More than three hundred miles of the Smith River System are designated wild and scenic, more than any other river in the country. The emerald-green Smith River flows freely and naturally, without a single dam, for its entire length -- the only major system in California to do so.  
 
The Wild and Scenic Smith River is seasonal with highlights in each season. When winter rains arrive, the three forks and countless creeks drain a beautiful, rugged terrain of steep, rocky canyons, and torrential rains may bring the almost immediate whitewater conditions so avidly sought by kayakers.
