Vacation Rental Description
The lower cottage unit family room has one king bed (or it can be made into 2 twins); one queen bedroom; and a bedroom/reading room with a queen sofa sleeper.. It has a full kitchen with jenn-air barbecue stove, and a dining room that seats 4-6. There are large convenient closets with sliding glass doors. Also, there are 2 new luxury bathrooms with Jacuzzis in both. These are equipped with large bathtubs/showers with body sprays and waterfalls.
The upper unit is a large studio which is comfortable for 2 or 3 people. It has a full kitchen, a trundle bed, and a sofa also used for sleeping. It has one bathroom with a full tub and shower, and a pretty pedestal sink. It has a separate dining area (for 6). There are night stands, a tall closet and chest of drawers. The kitchen in this unit is actually the best one on the property.

These two updated, non smoking vacation cottage units are located on Pacific Ocean, facing Catalina Island with an 180 degree unobstructed view from every room!! As quaint cottage homes, these unique,refurbished 1940's ocean front cottages are filled with charm. They are very quiet and private. The bathrooms and kitchens have been updated, with body sprays, waterfalls,jacuzzi tub and double showers in the lower cottage unit. Within the cottages,you can hear the gentle undulating sounds of the ocean beneath you. Both Units have patios facing the ocean, perfect for sunning or dining. Watch whales, dolphins and sea lions playing in front of you. Watch the boats and cruise ships go by on their way to Mexico, China, Europe, etc. Numerous majestic pelicans and gulls fly right by you. Sunsets and sunrises are indescribable. At night, the moon path glimmers on the ocean before you.

The cottage units are a short drive to both Cabrillo and Royal Palms beaches, the fishing pier, the Cabrillo Marine Museum and the Korean Friendship Bell. Other attractions in San Pedro include Ports of Call Village, with its fresh fish and lobster and year round open air dining. Mariachi Bands play for tips while you watch the numerous ships leave port in the channel. The Cruise Ship Terminal, old fashioned yet totally functional Port Trolly Line, Catalina Island Ferry, are within minutes of your abode. Lobster and fresh fish abound in this long time fishing port. Many Europeans have settled in San Pedro including Italian, Scandinavian and Croation fisherman, with their respective cultural centers and eateries, giving the town a unique cultural ambiance. Because of its whaling past history, San Pedro is often considered “A Whale of a Town.”
The ocean may be accessed by paved county pathway about 100 yards from the property.
